Boo! I have to get a root canal :(
I'm seriously bummed...I've never had any major dental work done, besides fillings. Apparently I have a crack in my tooth, which is the source of all the pain.

I have never had one, but I have heard they have come leaps and bounds in how they do them now, so hopefully you will be ok! I just had a filling this summer, it had been years since my last, and it was not bad at all!
That stinks! Hopefully they will give you some good drugs.

Unfortunately, I've had two. It's not that bad. Just a little longer in the chair and numbness/soreness lasts a little longer (than a filling). But a good excuse for a milkshake!
Honestly, the tooth pain you're experiencing prior to the root canal is much, much worse than the actual procedure.
That is awesome to hear! And I definitely perked up at the prospect of a milk shake.
