Annalise was born at 5:42pm, weighing 7 lbs 4 oz, didn't get a length from them yet since I was so out of it - and we are still working on a middle name!
well, all those dropping vibes worked - by 2pm I was fully dilated and she had dropped all the way 
... I will post a full birth story later when I am not exhausted (only got 4 hours of sleep on Tues night and didn't sleep last night since I was here at the hospital), not to mention the long drawn out labor today.... but the short version is that pushing did not progress like it should have, they had to turn off the epidural so I could push, and in the end we elected to do a c-section... while in surgery the doctor did discover that she was too large to fit through my pelvic canal so I am glad that we did not decide to continue laboring and trying for a vaginal delivery.
thanks for all the well wishes and encouragement today, you guys are great 
I have never been in so much pain in my life and post op recovery was a little rough for me. will post more details later when I am feeling up to it...

Wishing you a speedy recovery. From what I've been told, stay on top of your pain meds and don't wait until you feel pain to take them!
Welcome to the world, Annalise. You have an amazing mommy... but, she's going to need some sleep. Be a good baby.
Congratulations! Take care of yourself. Accept the help from those around you. The help is great the first few weeks... and dwindles from there. Everyone is wonderful with babies. You'll be surprised how much people will want to help the first year. Take advantage. Once you have a "kid" and not a "baby", they don't offer nearly as often.
