Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Re: All bugs go here
Another bug from a Knottie on my board re: watching threads:
The Watch is not working either. I get the emails when I click the Email Replies button, but when I click watch and then go into the My Watched Treads link on the left (which BTW only show up on the left when I am on my oct 2010 board [Not Mpls-St Paul]) it says I dont have any threads listed.

Another 'bug':
When we post a link can there be a way it is automatically identified? Like on the Nest - links are identified with an underline.

Uncheck it. See my page to Dreamalot.

I just had something really weird happen - And it goes along with TheKnot giving some posters other usernames.
Cacoffer - who is currently identified by TheKnot as bbyckes - made a post about Holiday Parties on the Etiquette board. Just now, the post showed up as being made by CaliopeSpiderman.
I have screenshots:

Here is the link in question - Cali's not even in that thread.

A Knottie on my board is having trouble replying to posts using Google Chrome. She's done the refreshing (what I've had to do), closing tabs, browsers, no luck. Her replies have to come in the form of new threads - not good. Halp.
ETA: because the reply box is long and skinny.

A couple of my girls have mentioned this. When they catch up on everything on one computer, say from work, then they get home everything is in bold again, even when there are NO new posts. Other boards I post on, it syncs it with your account.
Also, I mentioned this in another thread but thought it should maybe go here. Sticky posts: Can they please go BOLD again when someone posts in them? They stay gray no matter how many replies they get. And people are overlooking them.
It's almost here! Weeeeeeee!

Planning Bio - Woefully out of date
I have no mod rights in the retro/vintage boards. There's a poster who had a FS thread that was not a problem at first, but now she's reposted it for a third time and has therefore reached the "spam" level. I'd like to delete it. If anyone else can do it for me, until I get my rights back, I'd appreciate it.
Here's the post
I'd love to help you, but we only have mod rights on our own boards now. Email Annie and she'll get you set up ASAP!

Redirecting Replies -
I just went to reply to a post on the Etiquette board, and when I hit reply, in the subject title it showed the name of a completely different post. I asked the OP if that was the original title of her post, and after I clicked Submit, it posted my reply over in a thread on Snarky Brides, which I do not visit on a regular basis, and I haven't been on that board at all today.

Another from my board. I recommended she use the breadcrumb link, but anyone should be able to refresh the page and get the new posts. FYI
There seems to be a problem with refreshing the page and not having new posts show up. For example, I just got home from class (4 hours), and refreshed my board page, and when the page had fully loaded, no new posts showed up. Now, knowing how chatty our group is, I knew there was no way this is possible. The only way that I can see new posts is to either go to the main local boards page, and going back through the MPLS/STPAUL link, or to just log out and log back in all together. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying to have to do.

I have one girl who swears she cannot change hers. A few girls have given her suggestions on how to do it... but she never answers. And her siggy is still just code. Other than that, I think most of my girls have fixed theirs.

If it's showing up as code, she probably just needs to switch from using BBCode to html.
She's using the <img etc. code - I seriously can't figure it out, and I'm more of the technically inclined crowd.

I don't know if this is still where I should post bugs, but I have two...
1. A knottie (EKG7) has her email address showing up as her screen name when she posts. If you click on her profile, it still shows EKG7 but when she posts is shows her email address....which understandably she'd like fixed asap.
2. We still have two boards and it's really frustrating (destination weddings). Some links on TK take us to the new board, but some links take us to the old board.
Thanks!
