We just signed all the papers for our refi. Kind of strange to be doing it just 13 months after the first one, but the time was right. Definitely needed something to go right today. I had a rough start, including leaving my coffee at home.

This will save us $200/ month which will really be nice.

Boo, I just typed this whole response and it dissappeared....
Anyway, what I said was that we want to refi too, but we are loathe to go through that again because it was such a PITA. Do you mind me asking what your rate is? We thought ours was really good at 5.65% when we bought 1.5 years ago, but I hear the rates have gone down a lot since then?
Did you go through a broker, and if so did you like them? Our broker was the king of the douchebags, and we would NEVER use him again.

Actually, we just went through our bank through which we have our mortgage. They sent us a letter asking if we wanted to refi earlier this year. I believe our rate is 5.25%. You should at least look into it. Obama is working hard to help people to get lower rates; I figure why not take advantage.
Cool, I will look into it.Thanks!
