Curious, how long have you two been with your DHs? Not that it has a whole lot of bearing in the frequency of your sexin', but the first few years for us we were like bunnies. Then, life caught up with us and there just wasn't time. That, and after being on birth control for a few years my libido went downhill very quickly.
I want to know your secrets!

4 years and some change. My husband just turned 24... maybe that has something to do with it??
And I've been on bc since I was 18...
I meant that as in, maybe he's younger and has a higer sex drive -- not, it was his birthday recently so we've been celebrating.
This, but I answered none. We've had sex maybe 5 times in the past 3 months. So sad.
Ha ha! I love that you thought it might come off as everyone thinking you two were REALLY excited about him turning 24!
We've been together for 7 years and we're 30 and 31 (although C's birthday is pretty soon). I've never been on the pill.
But we were long distance for 6 of those years and only had 2 weekends a month. So I think spreading it out over the week still feels like it's not as often. Also, we don't have sex during my period and for a few days after.

Back in medieval times (aka the first couple years of our relationship) we were like rabbits. Then I decided to say hello to the pill and goodbye to my sex life... for seven years. I refer to those seven years the Dark Ages. I had zero libido and it is a testament to his character that the mister stuck it out.
Thankfully after the wedding we moved through the Dark Ages into the period of Enlightenment, also known as the age of the IUD. Hello my name is Choo and I'm a born-again nymphomaniac.
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

I'm REALLY hoping this happens for me. I just got off the pill last month and am hoping that my libido returns. How long did it take yours to come back? I've heard that it can take a couple of months.
Answer me this: Why the he!! did we decide that me going off the pill would be best suited for right when he started his training and would not be home. at all. ever. So, when my sex drive returns, I'll have nobody to share it with. FML.
It definitely took a few weeks for the urge to come back, but I noticed a definite change this month. I got the sucker the end of September. If you had asked me the whole month after insertion (gross) if it was worth it, I would have slapped you (as I did Alex, many, many times) because I had a particularly bad adjustment period (whole other story...). But my insight at month two? I'd do it all again in a second. I finally feel like myself again and I'm no longer terrified of getting KU. Misson Accomplished.
