Thank you for slumber party help
I'm not on this board often, but appreciate all of you. The advice you gave me for my daughter's slumber party was perfect. I kept them at the pool as long as possible... my H laughed that I had them in the locker room as long as they were in the pool. Stalling. We went to a restaurant, had karaoke, dress up, plenty of activities at the party room, gave them glow in the dark chalk to cover the sidewalk.... you name it... I did as much as I could before we went back to my house. I'm so thankful that you said I was kidding myself when thinking that they (7-8 year olds) would go to bed before midnight. I popped in Enchanted around 9:30 pm, hoping they would fall asleep in front of the TV. Oh, yea, they were still up at 1:30 am!!! Then, they woke up at 7 am. My poor house would not have survived if we spent more time there.
My house thanks you. My cat thanks you. My husband and I thank you. Mostly, my daughter and her giggly friends thank you for many good activities and ideas.
