As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Today is my last day of work before we fly down to visit DH's family and so far it's been pretty slow, but I have no doubt the boss will come up with some ridiculous emergency before the day is out. I will be most relieved when today is over.

Krissie - We are leaving out of Portland, so I'm really hoping that we won't meet any serious delays. Fortunately we're not coming back until Monday so we should miss that storm.
That would be neat, though, to have a big snow storm start on Christmas!

Woo hoo! Last day of work!! Last day of work!!!
LoL, I have so much to do tomorrow. I need to wrap all the gifts, drop off donations at Goodwill, pack for Christmas, start the sauerbraten marinade...oi....
We got a little snow here last night, but it's supposed to get sloppy/icy over the next two days. So we'll see how traveling is...
I'm kind of excited for snow on Christmas, it will be pretty!! Plus, we won't have to travel because Christmas is at our house!

Hey all! I'm trying to fight the excitement of going home tomorrow so I can make it through the rest of my work day. We had a snow day yesterday and I took tomorrow off (the office is only open 3 hours), I'm kind of wishing I had taken today off, although I can't really complain about a 1 day work week!
