So the previous post about blogs had me thinking... what is your favorite blog (besides your own of course)? Post them here!
Re: Poll: Fave Blogs
MY BLOG!
My Blog!
Ashley - I think I'm going to start photographing everything I cook and bake... I photographed fudge brownie mix in jars I made for gifts this weekend and that may be a first post for me on food gawker if they came out well (I haven't had a chance to look at them yet... things have been so busy - so sad!). What are some of the photography blogs you're looking at?
MY BLOG!
I still read A Practical Wedding, even though the wedding is over. And since Meg is also married now she has changed her posts somewhat. I guess it appeals to me since I would not consider myself or the H to be "traditional" and I have feminist tendencies lol.
I also follow Heather of roadtotheaisle on her new blog, HeatherDrive. I find her very funny and like to think that if I knew her in real life she would be my friend. OK, that came out a little creepier than I meant it.
Other than that there are several STL photographer's blogs that I follow, mainly for eye candy. There are also etsy vendors and Weddingbee bloggers whose private blogs I follow, mainly because I'm working on starting my own business and I've gotten a lot out of reading about their experiences. (twigsandhoney.blogspot.com, stinkerpants.com/blog). I tend to like blogs about what a person does (photographer, designer, etc.) interspersed with posts about their personal life. Yes, I enjoy looking at blogs that have just a person's photos, but it adds so much more when they also write about things that let you get a glimpse of who they are.
I really like Bakerella.com. Since I got my mixer for a wedding gift i'm a baking machine and her blog gives me such inspiration.
foolproofdiva.com It's geared towards single women, but its a friend of mine from high school.
thefrisky.com which is just a whole bunch of wonderful gossip and nonsense.
Ashley I guess I am cliche.....and others girls who have started blogs ironically after their wedding are cliche? I don't think starting a blog after getting married is cliche. I think you just have a million ideas, thoughts, interests left over from planning the biggest event of your life and you still enjoy researching and being artistic and you want to talk about it...which turns into blogging about it.
My fav blogs are about fashion, decorating, and photography:

Can I join you? Maybe we can have lunch at the country club?

Me too me too! I quit my job to move right before we got married so now I'm a stay at home wife too. I could do just fine with mid-day cocktails at the country club
Hell yeah! Let's start a new Housewives series!! And I just checked out that Southern Weddings and think I might have a new addiction... even though I'm a yank by heart.
Let's do it. I'll pick y'all up for our first formal dinner party in my range rover.
OOOOH! This!!!! DUH.
