Do you use the bathroom....
with the door open. I think that this topic is funny because some people don't give a flyin flip and others say it is completlely wrong.
So what about you? Do you pee with the door open when DH is in the house?

The funny thing is, I am soooo not a lady...But around him I totally am. hahaha

Years ago a friend of mine didn't care if the door was open, no matter who was around.
I am pee shy so I have to have the door shut. And definately while pooping, seriously who wants to hear/see that?!
M on the other hand, he pee's with the door wide open, but like me, door is closed for #2. (thank God)
I am not a lady though, I have no class or shame, M has heard numerous bodily noise come from my orphases.

Door closed. Well, almost closed. Our bathroom door doesn't really close all the way, so you could push it open (and the pups sometimes do!).
But when I was single (without puppies) and sometimes still if I'm home alone, I will leave it open. But it's very rare now, cause Neela especially tends to follow me around, so she'll wait outside the door for me!
LOL, Bella does that too! She'd love to just be in the bathroom with you if she could.
Closed! I don't even like when people talk to me while I'm in a stall in public or when girls want me to accompany them to the bathroom (ahem, MIL). Can't say the same for my mom. She leaves that sucker wide open even for #2 unless there's company. *shudder* AND if you're in there brushing your teeth or whatever, she'll come right on in and do her business with you standing there (I leave immediately!). It DRIVES ME INSANE! She is a super christian, very conservative person and I just don't get it. BLECH!

Dixie used to go in with M, until she DID get peed on (she'd get super nosey and hop up on the toilet). Gross.
My bathroom do is the same way and Kieran often comes in and visits. DH and I are definitely closed door people. Sometimes I will talk to him outside the door when he is going #2 just cause I know it bothers him, hehe. But I would never walk in.
Funny story: When I was in college I joined a sorority. The first Fraternity party I attended with my sisters I had to go to the bathroom. I told a few of them and the next thing I know I was in the bathroom peeing with like 5 other girls. It bothered me at first but by the time I graduated I was so use to it.
I like it closed for #2 but #1 not as big of a deal. DH closes the door for both. DH has also never heard me poot, well maybe once. I've heard him twice, and smelled numerous (rank is not even the word...
).
And Snap likes to come in with me and lay on the rug infront of the tub while I use the bathroom. I don't mind him in there so I'll let him in.
I also like to call people while I'm #2ing. It's funny when I call my Aunt, She'll say "What chu doin'" and I'll say "I'm doin' a doo doo." LOL!! We are completely strange but I only say that to her.

The dogs come in anyways, so I just half-heartedly shut the door. Ours is on the second floor though so usually DH is downstairs anyways.
Nowadays, I pee while wearing a baby though, so privacy is out the door. (He's in a Moby wrap asleep and if I have to go, I am going...)

my uncle was visiting from out of town a few weeks ago and he is a door open guy. it's really creepy...

I close the door, but for show, really... Ginger always pushes it open. I lock it for company.
DON'T talk to me from the next stall. Ew. And WHY are some girls on their cell in a public pathroom. I don't want your friends to hear either of us doing our business. And you can call me back when you're done.
J takes 30 min or so to go #2. He has his own bathroom for this purpose. His laptop and cell go with him. Ew.
LMAO! DH takes forever for #2. He brings a book with him. On occasion I've heard him talk on the phone while in the bathroom. I called him out on it, and he was like, no way you're lying. I insisted, and he finally relented and admitted to talking to people, but said that no one can tell. H.E.L.L. to the N.O! People can most certainly hear that, gross!
A male coworker of mine brings a newspaper into the (public) bathroom at work. Ewww.
All this reminds me of the Seinfeld episode when George brings a book into the public bathroom, and they force him to buy it. Hahaha!
Yes, M take longer sometimes because he brings his PSP in with him and "gets caught up" in his games while in there. Main reason when buying a house we will be getting one with 2 bathrooms!
#1 open, #2 closed! DH and I never poo infront of eachother! But, peeing is no biggie . I alos take baths with the door open, the Pups love to visit me while I soak!
