A friend just told me that his (yes, guys do it too!) hypothetical son would be named Sebastein. What are yours?
Since DH and I just decided to TTC, we have come up with:
Ivy Karena (Karen is my twin sister's first name)
and
Aidan Anthony (Anthony was my dad & his dad's first name)
After 22 cycles and 4 failed IUIs, Serafina joined our family through IVF/ICSI, born 8.28.12
Surprise! The Sequel is due 12.8.14!
Re: Hump Day Poll! Names?
I'll play! I have only thought of a girl's name though...
Sofia Adelle
William ("Billy") Arthur (Also father / FIL's names)
or
Lily Ruth (Ruth is my mom's name, and my middle name)
Oooohhh I love this....
Mine are:
Stella Rose and Ava Elizabeth and Violet Elizabeth for girls
(I like girl names)
August for a boy...what's a good middle name for August?
I have an Alden in one of my classes and I'm in love with her an her name.
I've always liked Johnathon but we have a ton of Johns in my family so I don't know if we'd go with that.
Other than that... I have no idea right now... One indication that I do not have baby on the brain too badly yet.
MY BLOG!
So far I can only come up with first names:
Aurelia for a girl (DH is a classics geek and I love, love, love the way it sounds)
James for a boy (DH, DH's dad, and his grandfather are all named James and I would like to carry on the tradition)
I also like Biblical names for both, as both of our first names as well as our last names are Biblical first names.

I like "August Christopher."
OK, don't laugh, but I just found a list that DH and I made a while back:
Avery Siena (could also be Avery Atticus for a boy)
Siena Marie
Emery Ann (could also be Emory Atticus for a boy)
Gemma Leigh
Rowan Finlay
Oh, that is such a pretty name! Very feminine

Good one! I like the Adelle.
Thanks! Adelle is my middle name. It's been passed down in my family.
Thanks Reindumonde! Now I just need to let my husband know that we are using that name if we have a girl...
Well I have ALWAYS loved the name Mackenzie Julia (DH grandmother) for a girl, but now my DHs other grandmother that just passed away today told us 2 days ago that she loved the name Sophia for a girl and DH said he liked that name.
Boy- Bryce David (DH dad's name)
Brayden
That's all I have so far. There are more names I like, but I can't think of them at the moment. Too much going on today.
For girls: Savannah, Willa, Charlotte, or maybe Henna
For boys: Lyric, Tyler, thats all I got for boys...
My Blog!
Willa... nice! I'm all for something slightly different.
Boy: Gavin, Tyler, Christian (middle name for whatever one we pick would be Jeffrey for DH's late father)
Girl: Madeleine (Maddy), Amaya Lynn, Ella or Ellie....I have a tough time with girls names....I always change my mind! My mom, and grandma and I all have the middle name Sue so I want my first daughter to have it too but then she can't have a first name that starts with A because her initials would be A. S. S. booooo. Of course I like a ton of names with A (Addison, Ava...)
Boys: Maverick Andrew, Canaan Joel, Steele Michael
Girls: Meredith Grace, Olivia Kate
We're are not really planning on having children but if we were the Mr really likes Moses. It cracks me up. I like:
Audra Elaine (after my aunts and the Mr's G-ma)
Felix Joseph (after my uncle and I just really like Felix)
Middle names are too much, first names are easy:
Boy: Pablo, Ezra, Simon, Mordechai (DH hates that name)
Girl: Camille, Paloma, Isabella, Sotera (g-ma's name)
Gender neutral: Chai
Well obviously we are partial to Lincoln Joseph for a boy's name. But if we have another boy his name will most likely be Jacobe' John.
For a girl we had picked out Aliyah Marie.
Krc - I used to have a Maverick at the after school program I worked for, he was one of my all time favorites, and I have always loved the name Maverick too! Although, DH won't go for it.
Kristina - How about August September? Kidding!!
Oooh ooh.. I wanna play too...it's funny I was just thinking about this today after lurking on the Bump... I'm missing some middle names though...
GIRLS: Amelia Rae, Ella Grace , Lilah, Mackenna
BOYS: Noah Jacob, Jonah Benjamin , and Mason James
We are so far from TTC, but have talked about names since forever.
Boy: Diego Real (pronounced Ray-al - it was my favorite great uncle's name) or Joaquin Miguel
Girl: Margarita (Maggie) JoAnne (I am named after both my grandmothers and I want to carry on the tradition)
I would love to name a boy after his grandfathers, but we're working with Victor and Vaughn and there is no combo of those that work!
pinterest
Oh Im late but here are the names we have picked out...
Boys: Jaxton (not Jackson, Jax-ton
Allen (< my fav uncles name)
Quentin Remington
Girls: Elly (my dads name is lyle so switch the letters around) Rose (< my mothers name)
Isabella Kinsley
We are currently TTC and its stressing me out way more then planning our wedding! I never imagined it would be this frustrating.
I like Max, Henry and Benjamin for boys
Lauren, Heidi, and Elena for Girls.
I know you didn't ask for opinions, but if you tell people your baby names before you have the baby, people will always give their opinion!
Aidan is definitely one of the most popular names right now. I read an article with a list of the most popular names and if memory severs, Aidan was THE #1 most used. It seems like all boys right now are Jack, Max, and Aidan.
I've always liked Christopher Leo, but DH doesn't like "Chris" as a nickname. Leo was my grandpa's name, so I would want to use that as a middle name if we have a son. But, to make things worse, our last name is a first name, so it'll be hard to pick a good name. Plus it ends in a "y" sound, so it'll be hard to make a name NOT rhyme.
I guess we'll figure it out when we have to. I'm not too worried about it yet.
Sorry - I'm really late to the game. I keep a list of names at my desk in case anything comes to mind. Unfortunately, I'm not at my desk right now, but here are a few I keep coming back to:
Boys: Noah Thomas or Noah Christopher, Archer Wesley...and I like the name Luke or Lukas (but I'm having trouble with middle names that lead into our last name)
Girls: Eleanor Blythe or Beatrice Riley
I'm trying to balance classic and unique.
I am really late getting to this but I want to play.
Boy- We already have one and his name is Jaiden Al. If we have another one his name will be Brennen (from Step Brothers). DH is in love with name.
Girl- We really like Hailey, but I know someone with a Jaiden and a Hailey so now we have to come up with other one. Why are girls names harder than boy names?
