It's our first anniversary. :) H has plans for us that he won't tell me about, but we've decided to renew our vows in a new state every year. Since we lived and got married in Florida last year and recently moved here, it works out perfectly for us to easily get started on this with Massachusetts as our first renewal state. :) Nothing formal... just the two of us and our vows... but I'm excited.

I've also got some fun things planned for H (sexy scavenger hunt). I've already got his gifts, too, so we're good to go there. It should be a special day.

    Thats cute!

Thank you! It got a lot easier to do inexpensively since we moved up here.

That's such a cool idea for renewing your vows!

And lmao at your first valentine's gift! Hahahaha

    Thank you!

Yeah, the beer mug card was mildly amusing that night, but over the years it's gotten downright hilarious. I still have it... it has great sentimental value. H doesn't like it when I bring it up because he acted like adouche that night, but I think it's cute.

  • My bff will be in town that weekend and I think we'll just go out to a fancy restaurant, I told DH he'll have two hot dates that night, haha.
  • omg...one hour to go at work and I am trying my hardest not to fall asleep at the desk.

We usually splurge on a very expensive dinner for Vday...last year we did the Omni Parker House and the year before that we did McCormick and Schmick.

This year, we are going to the Bahamas for a long weekend at the end of Feb, so we don't want to splurge on the expensive dinner too.  H has been talking about cooking lobsters at home this year...should be an interesting experiment.  We'll probably celebrate the Sat instead of Sunday, since Sundays are usually reserved for family in our house...
