Bonus link lol...10 tips for how to function after a sleepless night:

I know that most of these were true for me, after I had Maya. I always made a point of getting into the shower, putting a decent outfit on (one I would feel fine walking down the street in at least) and putting on some mascara etc. It helped me feel more human.
Re: Article on age gaps between kids
It's an interesting convo. I think we get sucked into a "right" way of doing things and the reality is, there is no right way. There are pros and cons to each scenario. You get through it, do your best and take the good with the bad.
Then you reply to a post and add as many cliches as you possibly can
On a "sort" of similar topic. What do you guys think of the Duggars and their 19th baby? I read the article in People this week, I knew that they were very religious, but I hadn't realized that they space out their pg's based on the bible! 40 days of abstenence after a boy and 80 days after a girl! Who knew??

Thanks for the link to the sleepless night article. It's getting better...Libby goes down for 3-4 hour stretches at a time now. Yay! But I am still not used to sleeping in short intervals. It's better, and thank goodness I am not working so I only need to be able to function enough to feed Libby and look after her and maybe do some laundry, vaccuuming, etc.

Lori, I feel for ya hon. I think the sleep deprivation is one of the harder parts after you have a baby.
We now know why it's so effective when used as a torture method
K, I don't really follow the Duggars, so I don't know a LOT about them. I DO know that they live debt-free, which, good on them!
I think THAT many kids is too many in this age of overpopulation and it's effect on the environment. My stepmother's sister is pregnant with her 14th (I think she's up to 14 or 15 now...I lost track a while ago) and she just hands off the younger kids to the older kids to take care of, while she cares for the newborn (until she has the next kid). I have no respect for people that just 'breed' out of control like that.
