iPhone Question.

I am supposed to be getting my iPhone today via FedEx (Im so excited). I know I have to take it to the store to activate. I am hoping I will have enough time. Store closes at 6:30 and FedEx usually runs at 5:30. We are about 30 mins from the AT&T Store.

How long should the activation take. Will they be able to do it in 30 minutes?

And also once I get my iPhone home will I need a computer for any reason. We do not have a home internet connection. But my MIL does in case I need it.

I am just so excited and I really want to be able to use it tonight and not have to wait until tomorrow to play with it.

Thanks!

Re: iPhone Question.

  • Hmm...this is probably a little late, but in case anyone else was wondering:

It will probably depend on how busy the store is, but they should be able to activate it in less than 30 minutes.  You don't need a computer to use it tonight.  Enjoy!

  • My iPhone was activated in 10 minutes or less (I was so excited, I can't remember!).  Hopefully it went well for you :)

  • I synch my iPhone through iTunes on my computer.  That is how I get all of my operating system upgrades.

I don't know another way to get the upgrades.
