I'm in finance/client service
No kids (yet) and no pets (although DH really really wants a dog but we aren't home enough during the day to take care of it)
I really like cooking/baking and reading. On average i'm reading about 3-4 books a week. and strangly, now that we own a home, cleaning doesn't bother me nearly as much as i did living in an apartment. Probably because having more room makes it easier to keep clean. Not sure you'd classify cleaning as a hobby though...
Interesting? hmm...i'm really good at remembering song lyrics. I can go a couple years without hearing a song and still remember most if not all of the lyrics when i hear it on the radio. But i can't remember them if you just ask me. I need to music to remember.
no concerns, but any ideas what I can get my niece as a christining gift? I'm her godmother (super excited about that). My godmother got me a small gold bracelet that i still have so maybe something like that?

3. I'm a laid-off structural engineer (building & bridge design)
4. kids? We are expecting our first baby in July! We call "it" Chiclet for now.
5. pets? We have a full house of fur! 2 peke-a-poo dogs, Cole & Ebony, and 2 cats, Cartman & Jack Sparrow
6. favorite activities/hobbies: I love scrapbooking when i am in the right mood, I took up knitting now, and in the nicer weather we do some hiking, play softball, gardening, and go to the dog park. Jon's parents live on a lake, so we do a little boating too (and I'd love to get our own speed boat someday).
7. anything else interesting you want to share with the group: I grew up in Chicago, moved to MN to be with Dh and fell in love with the area. We have a huge yard, starter home, and a crumbling 1 car tiny garage - but it is all worth it! Jon & I are also super chubby, so we're working hard to get and stay healthy for our little Chiclet.
8. any special concerns/situations you are facing these days that could use some Novembie Vibes: healthy pregnancy vibes are always welcomed, but in general things are good now. 2009 was a rough year with losing my dad, the pregnancy struggles, and lay-offs for both of us, but we made it through with the support of friends and family and are now looking forward to the continuation of a great 2010.

8. any special concerns/situations you are facing these days that could use some Novembie Vibes: Thankfully, nothing pressing, my biggest want is that I figure out something more long term that I want to do with life, I love being an assistant, but its not what I wanted from life, and what I wanted from life isn't really realistic anymore (a Recreational Therapist, the jobs just doesn't exist in Indianapolis)

Ugh, do you want any cats? We have 3 plus the homeless one that addopted us AND a shih tzu puppy! So cats are Dora, Cash and Tuki. The homeless kitty is Ralphie, we feed him. He is blind and DH has saved him from the pool many times. The pup is named Ladmo, only people who grew up in AZ in the 70's 80's will know that name.

I am obsessed with weddings, hence the weekend job! I also enjoy decorating our new home!

Ok well I must admit I have been a daily lurker since planning my wedding with all of you gals since early 2008. Please forgive me for never posting but up until just recently I was working a full time job and was never able to lurk at work.
