NORTH CAROLINA (AP)- A local news family is trying to find the words...when there are none.
"Shock. Disbelief," said Veronica Corningstone.
"I knew it was a possibility. Even so, it's a miracle," added Ron Burgundy, who then promptly fainted.
The couple received word three weeks ago they were expecting an anchorbaby. But they didn't know their dream of forming a family band and touring the countryside would happen like this.
Their family is growing not by one... but by two.
"Dos bebes" quipped Burgundy, who fainted again.
An ultrasound yesterday revealed two strong heartbeats.
"I don't care whether they're boys or girls, as long as they're healthy," Corningstone smiled, "But if they're boys, no jazz flute. That's for little fairy boys."
