Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Stupid City Workers
My neighbor was nice enough to plow my driveway this morning. If he hadn't I'm sure I would still be there shoveling away at it. Well I get out of my driveway and start heading down our street.
Only one lane is cleared and I'm obviously on it. I say 'obviously' because some stupid city van starts driving towards me in the one lane and then sits there. Ummm....okay....so I move over into the snow. Well they don't go around me and now I'm stuck in the snow! I'm just spinning my wheels and the dudes in the van are just staring at me.
So I get out out of my truck and use my window ice chipper thingy to move the snow away from my tires. I'm still stuck. I get out again and this time one of the guys gets out of the van and says "Don't you have four wheel drive?" No, dumba$$!! If I had four wheel drive I would have already plowed through the snow and past your dumb a$$!
The dude gets a shovel out of his van and starts clearing my tires. Then the second guy comes out and says the same thing! He looks over at me and sees my belly and says "Oh, no, you're pregnant!"
Yes, that's right, I'm pregnant and you just forced my truck into the snow. Now shovel my a$$ out!
When this happened less than 20 feet from my house I think I should have taken it as a sign to turn around and go back to bed

Days like this I'm grateful I walk to work. For the one whole patient who came today... ugh
