Apparently the happiest day of your marriage will be 11 months and 8 days in. I'm marking December 10th on the calendar to see how that really goes.

Re: Have you heard this?
As far as I know UPI is a reputable source. The article was short, here's the whole thing:
LONDON, March 2 (UPI) -- A British wedding Web site's survey of 4,000 couples indicated happiness levels at different stages of marriage, the Web site's spokeswoman said.Carol Richardson of London Tuesday said British married couples are happiest 11 months and eight days after their wedding, the Web site that conducted the research, confetti.co.uk, said.''We've found the secret to the happiest time together isn't about big, expensive and lavish gifts but being there for each other to share special moments," Richardson said.Married adults enjoy their best sex, romantic meals and nights out with friends after two years and four months.Successful couples spend 24 minutes a day having a "heart-to-heart each evening" and never go to bed after an unresolved argument, the Web site said.

muy interesante....so the happiest before you even hit 1 year? I wonder if this is around the same time that a lot of couples start to want/try for kids? I'm not saying that having kids will make you unhappier, but i'm sure it adds stress and all that jazz...
mmm..we just had chocolate milkshakes with banana liquour from curacao haha...mmm

speaking of recipies...I just bought the ingredients for Shazzie's crockpot chicken today...omg...I know i'm not the best in the kitchen, but for the whole chicken, I asked DH if there was a bag we would have to take out before we cooked it like there is in turkey. He saw me put the chicken breasts in the cart, but he didnt see the whole chicken. he thought i was talking about the chicken breasts. he thinks i'm a moron haha.

It's hilarious. Good thing real pets don't work like that! Unlike that Petville cat, Mittens never lets me forget when she's hungry.
