It's not that we "need" a code name for it, nor are we trying to hide anything. It makes us laugh. That, to us, is more important that referring to it by its "proper" name.

We sometimes jokingly refer to it as "sexy fun time" because it's good for a laugh, although that's generally a private, between us thing. But we also refer to it as having sex or making love. Just depends on if one of us is in a particularly playful mood.

There's nothing wrong with code names, just because you don't say "sex" "making love" or "***" doesn't mean you're not mature adults. Sometimes code names are fun and it's nice to have a private joke sometimes.

Usually we call sex "the sex." The only code name we have is "button" for my clitoris. I don't know how it started, but that's what it is.

We call it sex, or fukking. DH sometimes calls it "hiding the winkie" or making love. I'll laugh when he says "hiding the winkie", but I ignore him when he calls it making love. I hate that term.

I don't care if you use code names at home, but why post them here? If the code names are jokes between you and DH, keep them that way and call it sex on the board.

We generally just say sex or fuucking. We might joke about muffy, tweedle, the big man, etc. Just depends on how playful our mood is. We did go through an embarassing couple of months after seeing the movie duplex where we began occasionally referring to his as "Mr Peabody".

I actually got a kick out of one of the previous replies referring to him as "Mr President", and how Mr President needed to perform some work in the oval office. Too funny!
