In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry! I cried for you when I first read your post. I have no words of wisdom...or anything that will make this better or go away, but know we are all here for you, for anything you need, whether it be a shoulder to lean/cry on, an ear to vent to, or someone to play virtual bartender. I think we all wish we could go to NOLA right this second to be with you.
As pp have said, take some time to grieve and mourn - get angry and cry, scream, beat-up a pillow, whatever you need to do - and then after you've had some time to grieve, consider you possibilities. The road has not yet reached an end for you my friend - it might be Mt. Everest, but even that can be conquered.
