I'm so not qualified for the ballerina title...
But I am the studio directer at a local dance studio. I run all the scheduling, communication, etc. I also teach young childrens (1st grade and lower) Ballet, then all ages of tap and jazz.
I don't nest from work ever because there is never a time that I'm not swamped with work. But my hours in the mornings are very flexible and I don't ever have to come in before 10am. When I'm nesting it's either before I have to go in that day, or very late at night when I finally get home.

I'm a QA Engineer. I take the webpage after/during the developers and make sure it's perfect. What you see on most web pages isn't what I see when I first get it. I see mistakes on webpages all the time...CNN and MSN are actually really bad for mistakes.
Well, here's some advice for your next life: I've worked in the private studios since I was 19 and have done work for the public dance teams too (choreography, etc) and I don't think I could EVER work in the public schools as a full time dance teacher/Director. The restrictions and endless, the parents are.... ummmm.... difficult. As a studio director/instructor I think I'm able to focus much more on the artistic elements and do a lot less of the paperwork! I have considered getting certified but to be an teacher - not a dance director!!! I guess I'll never say "never"... but not annnytime soon! I love the flexibility and freedom that comes with the private studios.
