    It felt great today! The push ups are sooo much easier, and it flew by! I'm getting kind of excited for level 2 to kick my butt haha.

    I'm also looking forward to weighing in on monday!

  • ok girls I have to confess that I am not going to be doing the shred today because of the race. We're leaving at 7am and I just couldnt get up early enough...I'll have to go for a run on Sunday to make up for it!

  • I didn't do it yesterday either. And not because I was too busy, I just wanted a day off from Jillian. Back at it today though, with a 3 mile run on top of that. 
  • Level 1 Day 7: Complete!!

    My knees are hurting a little bit...but its the first day they've hurt, so we'll see.

  • Level 1, Day 6: check! I'm counting this as day 6 since I didn't work out yesterday. 

    Melko - mine are hurting too! for the past 2 times they've made clicking noises when I've been doing squats and lunges, so I eased up a bit today and didn't go as deep as I had been. I also tweaked my left knee running tonight, so I babied it a little bit while doing the shred.  

  • I didn't get a chance to do Day 6 or 7 because of Disney.  I'm hoping to get Day 8 done tonight if I can get my ankles to move properly.  The swelled up in Disney!

  • Shred Level 1, Day 7: Complete

    It was rough today because my stomach is acting up, but I managed to get through it. Now time to lay back down on the couch :(

  • Level 1 Day 8: Check! I don't know where the energy came from today, but I think I worked out harder than I have the past few times - let's hope it pays off. Only 2 more days of level 1 ladies!!
  • Wait isn't today Day 9?  Whatever day it is, it's done.  Going to start level 2 on Thursday!

  • Panda - I make sure that if I skip a day, I don't skip counting (or you defeat the purpose of the "30 day shred"). Even though I skipped a day and It's been 9 days since I started, I've only done 8 of them, so I count today as day 8. I will be starting Level 2 on Friday because of that.

  • Level 1 Day 8: Complete!

    So far, the bicycle cruches have been my least favorite, but today they weren't that bad!

    Panda: I decided to do the same thing with the counting..so actually do 30 days of it..or I'll just start skipping!

    hmm never thought of that, I guess it would work. Once in the morning and once in the evening.

    Anyway, Level 1 Day 9: Check! Only one day left until a new workout!! woooot! I also ran further today than I have in awhile, so I have had two great workouts.  

  • Ok, so my day 7 is done.  I was going to take a short rest and do day 8, but I'm starting to cramp.  Lady time is coming and I always cramp for days before.  Boo.  Good one today though!

  • Day 9: complete!!

    I just went out and bought 3 lb weights since I've been using 2 lbs (they were out of 3 when I got them last week), and they are getting too light.

  • Level 1 Day 10: Complete! Yay on to Level 2 tomorrow. I'm previewing it right now so that I can remember what I have to do. 

    Congrats on upping your weights Alise! I have been using 5 pounders and for some exercises (like the shoulder press and anterior raises) it's been a struggle, but for things like chest flies and bicep curls they're too easy. I have the reebok speedpak weights so I don't really have time to adjust in between exercises...oh well. I'll see what I need for Level 2 when I get there tomorrow.

    I'm also previewing level 2..well...because I have no idea what's in level 2 haha
