Re: So are you gals...
Same here. My cousin's baby shower is in 2 1/2 weeks, though, and she got pregnant about 2 1/2 weeks after her wedding, so we'll see! When they told the fam (she was about 5 weeks along at that point, so married less than 2 months when they shared the news), I believe I announced to everyone that if that happens to us, they'll know that it was God's timing, not ours!
So that might cut down on it some.
I worry a little. We are not financially ready (or stable enough in a few other ways) to start TTC for a couple of years, but I am turning 27 in August. I know that's still young, but my mom started menopause at 39, so I am nervous putting it off. I think I am probably working on a very abbreviated timetable! Matt knows that I want to have the first kid no later than 30. I will probably talk to my gyno about it the next time I go in (whenever that is). In the meantime, I keep telling myself that everything will probably be fine, and, if things don't go according to OUR plan, that God will have something else in mind for us to do, whether that's adoption or something else.
