Do you have a contract with her that states if you have to pay for that sort of thing?
I agree with Kasa that it depends on what you have agreed to, but I think it is common for most DC providers to have a set number of "paid vacation days" and I would think that this would qualify.

Our neighbors have been spending this afternoon cutting down a 90 yr old Maple tree. It lost part of its trunks in a storm at the end of April and today the rest is coming down.
It's going to be very strange to look across and not see the tree.
Out of Grand Rapids which made it a deal we couldn't pass up!
