Re: tuesday confessions
i confess that i didn't tell my dh that our shower was leaking....again...because i he has a big today and i didn't want to stress him out.
I confess that I got mad at DH in a dream b/c he shaved his head at the request of some other woman.
I confess that I'm trying to camoflauge that I plucked one eyebrow way too much. I guess I really should leave that stuff to the pros.
Over the weekend I dreamed that my DH left a note saying he had gone to Colombia for a month. I flew down to get him, and then we drove home, through Dalonega.
My confession is that yesterday after the 3-hour yell-fest AM staff meeting, I had a long lunch with a friend, and then went home and watched TV on the new flat screen and knitted all afternoon. Hows that for productivity suckas!
I confess that I am really jealous that you are in ATL still.
DH & I used to go to Papasito's fairly regularly, but it just got to be so average and a little over-priced. We much prefer La Parilla now.

1. I'm exhausted and feel like an old woman after my whirlwind weekend trip to VA. Road trips used to be a breeze to me but this one just killed me. I sometimes think I might need to seek therapy for my road rage issues.
Some people are just plain asssholes on the road and it really gets to me.
2. I'm having serious issues accepting my new niece's name. I realize it's not my kid but they picked her middle name in honor of my father. . .a man who has done nothing but make our lives hell. A man who once told me that he never wanted my brother or me. I just don't get it. I can't imagine her growing up knowing she is named after her grandfather, thinking he is some great guy or something. I also think her first name is more a boy name than a girl name.
i am SO. CURIOUS.

Oh, her name is Chayse Alexandra.
hmmm...i usually like boy names for girls, but the whole spelling it weird to be different thing gets to me.

They like to have a "y" in the first name b/c it makes it fit with the weird, pointless "y" in my maiden name. My 3 year old niece's name is Jordyn. They think Chayse and Jordyn go well together.
I know I don't post much on here but I couldn't pass this opportunity up
I confess that I informed my supervisor that I would be out sick today as I have a bladder infection, however the meds must be working extremely well because I woke up this morning feeling great with enough time to get to work. I stayed in bed instead.
I'm guessing this was convenient since "Chase" is pretty trendy, and all the better that they could stick the ol' silent "y" in it for "eu-neek-niss." I wouldn't try to look too much into it as an homage to your father, maybe just more of a convenient way to call it a "family name."

Hi Pink! Its been a long time, huh? Sorry you haven't been feeling well.
My confession: DH and I failed BIG TIME with MARTA last night. Apparently the trains stop running back to North Springs @ 9:15pm. Yeah, we called in a favor to his BFF to come pick us up!
Call me Kat =^..^=
Yep, you're right. DH just finally found that info on Marta's website.
we were using his phone last night to look up the schedule and he would NOT let me see the phone - I was trying to tell him we had to go to Lindburgh but he kept insisting I was wrong and would not go up that far. I was 99.999999 % sure thats how it worked but he would not listen. It was fine tho. We made it back eventually.

We booked a cruise for our 4th anniversary last night. So what if that's 1.5 yrs away and $$$? It'll give us plenty of time to save up for it and still go to WDW after Thanksgiving and Vegas next spring. As for the confession - we're not inviting the folks that went with us before. It was nice to have friends along at times, but in the end some in particular made the trip worse.
Oh, and for those that care about such things, we got a Jr. Suite on Oasis of the Seas
. The only other one we've been on was Freedom of the Seas in a Grand Suite for the honeymoon.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhh. you = suck. I am SOOOOOOOO jealousE!
We're looking to book a Carnival cruise because well... its cheap... for DHs 30th this year. We looked @ Oasis for THIS year and OMG they've gone and lost their damn minds!!! It was like $1200/pp for an interior this year! We could book it for next year for MY 30th but I really want to do something this year for DH.
Call me Kat =^..^=
I know. It's just ridiculous and we are insane. Oasis is stupid expensive. I'd watch to see if prices drop at all once Allure gets going. It'll be too soon after she launches for Allure to really help us though. They were actually the same price! I picked Oasis because I felt Allure would be a little "too new." DH didn't care which one we went on. We were just both convinced that we had to go after watching a special on NatGeo last week.
Instead of a lot of little trips throughout the year, we save up like crazy for one big splurge, plus staying downtown for Dragon*Con, and maybe a little one too. We wanted to go this January, but there's no way we'd have the cash saved up by then, especially after just returning from WDW at that point. Waiting a year makes it doable, plus I can watch for any price drops.
BTW if you haven't used them before, I highly recommend CruiseCompete.com for good OBC's. The agent we used before responded and I wound up using her again since we knew how great she was before. RCI's C&A is doing a special right now for $100 OBC + savings certificates that can be combined.
Although I am super excited this event I am planning for work is going well, I basically only had 1.5 months to plan something that most people plan in 6months to a year.
I just had a meeting about it and am sick to my stomach at the thought if it failing.
I know Carnival is offering $160 OBC right now, but if I book w/ my work it would be $240 less - it IS a guaranteed balcony room though. It could be the assend of the ship which I am not crazy about so.... save $240 and hit-or-miss with the location OR book on Am/Ex or whatever and get the $160 OBC ?? I am so indecisive!

For $80, I'd pick my cabin, but that's just me.
