This morning I made oatmeal and put a sprinkle of brown sugar and a little spoonful of peanut butter in it. It was awesome. I never thought peanut butter in oatmeal would taste good, but it did.
Re: Morning Random
I've made PB&J oats before. Tasty!

Me and T took an hour long walk last night, and then I mowed the lawn, and then I did laundry and gave the baby a bath. Super productive night. I wish every night was like that.
That really sucks. I hope you can stomach some food today!
I have never had peanut butter and oatmeal. Sounds good though.
My parents are coming to visit for the weekend. They'll be here Friday evening through Sunday afternoon and they'll be staying at our house. We have lots of activities planned including Meijer Gardens, Reeds Lake art show, and the Walker Festival.
Yesterday, SIL emailed my H and told him that she was going to be in GR this weekend with a couple of friends. She's staying with friends, but wondering if we wanted to get together at some point. Of course we do, so we're trying to figure out how to make that work with my parents around too.
Then last night, one of H's friends called and said he's going to a wedding in GR on Saturday and was wondering if he could crash at our place that night after the wedding. Um, sure, why not?
Hehe. We've never been so popular. I'm trying to figure out how to make this all work. I'm thinking of maybe making a big breakfast for everyone on Sunday. I have to find out who all would be around at that point though. Should be an interesting weekend!
I am slightly annoyed with GVSU right now (the school, not the nestie
).
A week or so ago I requested transcripts from GV and MSU as part of the law school application process. I logged on today and my MSU transcript has been received and processed, but not my GV one. There is plenty of time, so it isn't a big deal at all. I'm just irritated that GVSU hasn't managed to send it yet. I sent both transcript requests on the same day.
Geez, you guys are popular! That sounds like it will be a fun weekend! A Sunday morning breakfast sounds good! You could prep these the night before so you have more time in the morning to get other things ready!
Suze - Ha ha! I was wondering what I did to annoy you.
Kasa - Sounds like a fun weekend.
I'm so annoyed right now. There is a certain person in my life that won't allow me to do what I need to do. She feels its her job to call people and try to find someone to do something that I already have a company lined up to take care of. A company that I reserached last year and chose because of their qualifications. Let me know what I'm supposed to do!
You are a good women to let friends and pets stay at your place. When they move, you will have to let me know and we can meet up for ice cream sometime in the Heights.
When do you start your new job?
I have not been able to fall asleep this week. It kinda sucks.
My grandmother (she has alzhiemers) isn't doing well. She has stopped eating. T & P for my family please. I'm okay with it, I think with her disease I've already greeved the loss of my grandma. But other family members won't take it so easily. My aunt from Arizona had planned her annual trip to Michigan for this week, so I'm happy that she'll be able to see her mother for (potentially) the last time.
Oh geez! I can only imagine that craziness! It's really sweet of you to do that for your friends though.
Freeburger, you are a saint. I cannot imagine having friends and their pets stay with me for TWO MONTHS.
Anyone that was around last year might remember my houseguest situation and that was only for two weeks and no pets involved.
But you were totally justified. They were rude.
That's the most difficult part about diseases that carry on. Hugs your way and hopefully your zzz's will come back to you soon. Not sleeping well is so rough.
Those sound yummy. I can't ever turn down Mexican...bring on the enchiladas.
I have an appointment on my lunch hour today so no time for food, and then I have a double header in Allendale so again no time for food. Some day I *will* eat again.
Thoughts with your family. I know exactly how you feel too - my grandmother passed away a couple months ago and struggled with Alzhiemers (among other things). It was hard, but with the disease I had sort of already grieved too.
It's been fun except for the feuding animals! I would love to meet up again though, we will definitely plan it!
Orientation is Monday then I have training for the first 4 weeks or so, most of which will have to be first shift.
I'm so sorry, it's such a hard thing to go through. I wish her and your family peace and you some sleep!
That "some day" needs to be today, m'dear. I know you're busy and probably stressed out, but I'm concerned that you've only eaten two meals all week. T needs a healthy mama! Can you pick up something quick on your way back to work from your appointment?
Ugh cover Letters are the WORST. You would think after the 20 or so I did in the last few months I would be a pro, but no. Such a PITA. GL!
I'm trying to decide if that sort of situation would be a pro or a con to owning a house. Our apartment is small and we can't host overnight guests, so no one can take advantage of us. On the other hand...we can't host out-of-town friends on the rare occasions when they're in town, which can be a bummer.
