You are right, I could. I am just making excuses. I don't want to waste money on food I won't eat, but I'm sure I could run through a drive thru on my way back.
I hate cover letters, too!
My confession: I look up samples for similar positions on the internet to get some ideas for phrasing. I change all of the relevant details to fit the job for which I am applying and to fit my experience. I recently came up with a pretty good one and have been bascially using the same one with a few tweaks here and there for most of my apps.

Me: We should visit JP brewery this weekend.
Him: Yeah, let's go to DH on the way.
Me: Well if we'll be gone for awhile should we just stay in AA at ED's apt.?
Him: Let's go camping out there instead. Then we can visit AA breweries Saturday too.
So now we're visiting breweries and camping this weekend. :-)

We are extremely short staffed today. It definitely picks up the pace of my work and keeps me busier. I can't really procrastinate like usual because I don't know what the next hour will look like. For now, though, I'm all caught up and we have a lull. It's a nice break.
I'm wearing Bermuda shorts at work today.
I am now waiting for two call-backs. Yeah that there is more on the burner, but I am super anxious to hear some really good news.
