Re: Thursday randoms. :)
Awesome!! We lost by worse, 7-18, but it was an improvement over our first loss of 3-18. :-) I didn't feel like playing yesterday but I'm glad there was a game - it's always a lot of fun even though we're awful.
How about the match at Wimbledon??? I can't believe it. The longest match I ever played was at regionals my junior year and the match lasted 4 hours and 40 minutes, and I was exhausted afterwards. They're playing on a professional level and it's over 10 hours long - I don't know how they're still standing.
Holy cow, that is insane.
I am so tired too!
I envy your decision making abilities. Is this one in Mexico? I've been eyeing vacation packages for Cabo lately. There are some seemingly great deals out there, especially compared to what I've been looking at in Sedona where hotels are pretty pricey.
Hmmm... your week has probably been worse. I take back my bitching.
I'm exhausted today for some reason, too. I think my coffee is finally starting to take effect.
This week is about to become a bear for me with inventory. I'll have to work late tomorrow and possibly come in on Saturday, too.
MIL and I are going garage saling this morning.
Why does the Nest do its updating and crap during prime EST nesting time?

Yes, we're looking at Cozumel. It's an all inclusive with a decent rating, but it's not adults only. I'm figuring that if we go in September, there won't be an abundance of kids.
Yuck, that stinks that you'll have to spend your Friday evening and part of Saturday at work!
For real.
It happens twice a year and sucks donkey balls, especially because I am so in love with it here.
Ha. Hopefully the love affair will be over soon.
I'll bury this story in randoms.
Here's what I found out during a girl's drinking night last night, which included my boss's wife. Over thanksgiving weekend, I went out of town and hired my boss's son (the nice boss that I do most of my work for, not the mean one) to house-sit. The boy didn't realize my dishwasher doesn't work, and tried to run a load of dishes. His dad (my boss) came over to see if he could figure out what was wrong with it. While looking around for something he needed to work on the dishwasher, he found a baggie of green 'herbs', along with a few related items, which wasn't hidden very well.
Instead of even considering who's it was, he takes it to his house, and cusses his son for having it in my house. Yeah, it was mine.
I think you should slip some Irish Cream uh, non-creamer in your coffee on Saturday if you get my drift
Confession: I've taken jell-o shots at work on a Saturday before.
Me 3, and thanks to this economy, the starbucks by my office closed.
This story made me giggle a little bit. Sucks for the kid though.
I've done this on a rare occassion as well. I happened to have a bottle, which was a gift from a co-worker, and i hadn't taken it home yet. The day of lay offs in my office, 2 of my coworkers and i toasted to making the cut.
New girl read the employee manual -- we can't come to work under the influence of alcohol -- it says nothing about drinking after you show up. There's always wine in the fridge and a bottle of rum in the cabinet.
I guess the kid complained to his mom that he thought i was setting him up. The kid's not exactly innocent. Apparently he had been himself to his parent's pain/anxiety meds. He did throw a party while I was out of town that the neighbors commented on.
That is a fantastic idea. I'm going to do it. And how awesome that you've taken jell-o shots before.
No kidding! Crazy! I am hoping I can live stream the game on my computer at 10:30 this morning. I can't imagine how tired these guys are.
I haven't either. I probably never will. Smoking in general is just not my thing.
Me neither.
