What is something we'd be surprised to know about you?
I saw this post on F & B the other day and they gave some fun and interesting replies. I have been wanting to do it on here for a little while and since it's been a quiet couple days I figure it's time to ask...
Re: What is something we'd be surprised to know about you?
Ooh... that's hard! I don't know! I'm thinking.... what's your something??
MY BLOG!
I was a varsity swimmer in high school. Wouldn't know it by looking at me now! LoL! I tried swimming laps a few months ago... took me a minute to do a fifty.
*sigh* Sad.
Hmm...I was born without wisdom teeth and so was spared that ordeal.
I also collect Winnie the Pooh books in the languages of foreign countries I've been to. I currently have Italian, Latin, Czech, and German, but could not find a French one while were there there for our honeymoon.

I HAVE all of my wisdom teeth! They're fully in and straight. Never had to have anything done with them.
I also was born with out wisdom teeth.
Let's see, even though I am not girlie in the least I have over 300 barbie dolls, all in their original boxes.
Also, because I am kinda gothy people assume that I love horror movies but I actually hate them. My imagination gets the best of me and I end up replaying them in my mind for days after watching them...awful.
I did horse vaulting in Jr. High and a bit into high school until the instructor started talking to her dead horse and doing taro cards with us instead of teaching. ~haha~ If you don't know what vaulting is, it's pretty much something you'd see in the circus or a western movie. Here's a visual...
MY BLOG!
Me too! I also tried starting swimming again and am amazed at how long I used to be able to hold my breath, let alone swim a lap. I used to swim the 500 too so 10 laps. Now, I think I'd want to die.
I can't smell skunks. I looked it up once and I think I have scent-specific anosmia.
Anosmia is a condition where you can't smell at all, but there are people who just can't smell 1 or 2 things in particular. It gets gross when the scent you can't smell is your own B.O. That happens, I guess. I'm not too heartbroken about it, since the thing I can't smell is aparently awful.
HOLY! Wow, that's amazing!
I have this very same problem. Sometimes even commercials scare the crap out of me. Doesn't ever surprise anyone, though--guess I am the girly-girl type.

You guys are cracking me up....I think Millie wins the gold star for this post!
ME- I played tennis in college, full ride scholarship.....then I quit after 2 years. And now I can't even run down the street without wanting to pass out.
Also when I was younger I was a bowler...like hardcore/competed in tournaments etc....and at the age of 10 yrs old-12 yrs old I was in the top ten in the nation in my age group.
I need lessons!
MY BLOG!
~haha~ Thank you! It was a SUPER dorky thing to do but I always wished I could have done it more but there wasn't anywhere else close enough to keep it up. I guess it helped my dancing which started a couple years later.
I seriously love this post by the way!
MY BLOG!
So true about the holding breath! And I've also realize how inflexible my shoulders/back have become. It reminds me of how old I am, lol!
I used to do fly... OMG I almost died after trying a 50, lol!
LOL, pictures please!!!
Mosquitos do not bite me...ever. Not even standing in a cloud of them. Some sort of chemical thing.
I used to weigh 250 pounds, had weight loss surgery in 1990 and lost 120 pounds. Over the next 18 years, had ups and downs in health and in 2008, the system stopped functioning. I went down to under 100 pounds, had to go on TPN, and then have surgery to "take down" the changes in my digestive system. I'm healthy now, but 25 pounds higher than I need to be. For 3 years prior to the fixit surgery I had to eat all the time to get enough nutrition in, then it was fixed and I was used to eating ALL THE TIME
I'm trying to work on that.
I feel so dull reading everyone elses.
Umm...I used to dance competitively. I still love it, and people down here in DC have no idea about my past so when I bust out moves they always freak out...apparently none of them think white girls have rhythm!

I've got nothing as good as horse vaulting! Westminster Conservatory of Music tried to recruit me into their programs in middle school and high school, and I was offered full-ride scholarship to DePauw University without audition. That's as exciting as it gets for me.
Can I have your autograph?....
I have a pet skunk, and I think that wet cement looks like icing and i always want to eat it when i see it.
Thats all i got!
My Blog!
NO WAY!
Do you still play?
Where does the skunk stay? Does he just wonder about? Is he de-smelled?
Interesting.
I want to see a YouTube video with you skunk and dogs interacting. Do they get along?
