What is something we'd be surprised to know about you?
Re: What is something we'd be surprised to know about you?
No, I don't play any longer
Hopefully, someday I'll move my piano to my house from my parents' so I can get back in the groove of things. Percussion will probably be permanetly lost as neighbors don't like drums!
Foto, we definitely need a video of this.
I LOVE this! Please don't lick the cement! And does your skunk have her scent glands removed??
MY BLOG!
That's so funny that our random things are both about skunks!
That's impressive! I didn't move out til I was 28.
MY BLOG!
I got a full tuition scholarship to college, and about a month into my freshman year I met a boy, fell in love, and I followed him out to Kansas. I transferred schools and went from full ride to full out-of-state tuition
And no, he is not DH.
When I was 16 I took some flying lessons from my mom's boyfriend but I hated it. He's still convinced that I'd make an awesome air traffic controller, but yeah, I don't think so.
When I was in junior high school I had a pet parakeet named Petunia. She was lavender colored and very tame. She'd sit on my shoulder and play with my earrings 24/7. Every night at 9:00 pm she'd hop off my shoulder, run across the floor, and jump into her cage.
I am the worlds biggest Journey fan. That's right, the cheesey 80s love-ballad band. They RULE! LOL! I know every word to every song and even have DH singing along now. I'll keep him.
When I was a baby, I crawled upside down, in the "bridge" position, instead of right side up like a normal kid. Guess that was where it all began!
ZOMG, I hate Journey with the power of 1000 suns! They are my least favorite band...seriously. Like from the first note of any of their songs I will do what ever it takes to turn them off LOL. We probably would never be able to road trip together, ha ha.
I went to a residential gifted high school my junior and senior years of high school (the only two years IN students are eligible to attend). I had an amazing time, but if I hadn't gone I wouldn't have gone to law school and I really wish I wouldn't have gone to/graduated from law school.
I've danced on the bar more than once at Coyote Ugly in Las Vegas. I'm a wild girl
I'm 6'2". Yep, I'm tall. When I used to hit up bars the most common pick-up line was, "Hey, do you play basketball" or "So, do you play volleyball?".
I only played one season of basketball in HS.
I was such a wall flower in HS and hated being in front of people. I passed out once while giving a group presentation. Fell like a tree (caue I'm the height of one) and landed flat on my face. To top it off, I was wheeled out on a stretcher during the 3rd lunch period. Feel free to laugh away.
I dropped the whole wall flower thing in college. I danced on the bar at a Coyote Ugly too Scottnsissy (only in Colorado) and at a bar or two in St. Louis.
That bar or two in St. Louis wouldn't happen to be Club Buca, would it?
WOW! I guess not! I've never known anyone who hated them THAT MUCH! I won't hold it against you.
I danced on the bar at the Coyote Ugly in DC!
It's closed now though
::sigh:: yes, I think...It was 3 years ago. We were out for my friend's B party and they chose to hit up the landing. We were roped in with free booze to the bar and they had good music playing and free shots for those dancing on the bar. The other bar was Margarita Mama's in Westport. They closed a looong time ago, but we were there for a girls night out and a little too much fun.
