You were probably confused because everyone uses it gramatically incorrect.
We say things like:
"Oh, I was not very MM this weekend"
and:
Suggest your MM brand of diapers....
Obviously it makes not sense to say 'Oh, I was not very Money Matters this weekend." :-). We're a funny bunch.

What is MM, indeed.
MM is a state of mind. When I use that's so MM, I'm usually using it in a tongue in cheek fashion. So if I go out to dinner with musepuppy, I might say, let's be anti-MM and split the check down the middle. Or I might think, that's so MM when I hear about someone washing plastic baggies.
I think of "MM" as sort of the hyper Money Matter attitude that can sometimes rises up. Like someone that's totally MM composts, recycles, cooks everything from scratch, has solar panels on her roof, sews her own clothes, lives on a fourth of her take home income, and rolls their own toilet paper.

Maybe she's more of the buffalo dung collecting, salt of the earth MM woman. Of course she'd be annoyed by someone living the high life.
This is what I like best about her. She takes the AW posts that boobytrap can't be bothered to mock and injects some tough love reality, always with a totally straight face... er... typing tone. The result is often fantastic and frequently I agree with her. In my head, she's like Castiel on Supernatural. Extremely literal and earnest, but totally well meaning. Our choice of footwear doesn't match up and our politics are on polar opposite ends of the planet, but other than that I'm a fan.
