It's been awhile, so vents, anyone?
I've had to pee like 5 times since I got up at 5:15 this morning. It's 11:40 now... I should NOT have had that giant orange juice. Plus, my floor only has one woman's bathroom with ONE stall, so every time I've gone, I've had to wait on someone... they obviously did not design this building expecting women to be working here.
I just spilled pizza sauce on my white skirt, so now I have an orange spot on it.
I almost had to face-stomp one of our young summer-hires. She and I were walking towards each other in the hall and instead of politely stepping to the side so we could both walk past each other comfortably, she doesn't move at all almost forcing me to clothes-line her hobbit-looking self. It's going to be a very long summer.

Is it one of those summer hire programs where they just give you kids that sign up because their parents are in the military? I did that when I was a teen in Germany. If you know how to type they place you in an office that was funny to me I got paid more because of that!!! I annoyed the heck out of those people so I learned to stay out of the way in the back office and do my data entry and get the mail everyday and leave them alone.
Vent ... Well HH sister is in Connecticut and we are in Vegas and this stupid woman is trying to micro manage from there and is talking to HH like he is 5 and he is 46! Yes I understand this woman is concerned about her father but you know what if you were that concerned then fly your arse out here. GRRR She did even like her stepmother and talked bad about her all the time so you know what back off you biatch it isn't the time or the place.

No, this is different. It's kind of like co-op work. They're freshmen or something in college and they get hired on here for the summer to learn engineering-type stuff. This chick is seriously like 4 feet tall and weighs about 80 pounds. She has a very annoying valley-girl sounding laugh and I think I'm going to throw something at her next time she walks by my office. I hope to god I was not that annoying at 18!!
That would annoy the hell out of me!!! We have one girl in our call center that likes to sing in between phone calls and I think there are several people plotting her death!!!
I think I annoyed people because they had to find work for me to do and I would bother them to get more and they were forced to work with us kids its not like we could go out in the german town we lived in and get summer jobs....
I completely hate DH's job- like, 100% hate it. I know in his field he's lucky to have a position where he can actually be creative (he's an art director/illustrator) but that doesn't mean they should be able to treat their employees like crap! His hours are suppose to be from 9:30-6:30, but he's been there from 8:30 to about 7:30 -8:00 every night! I'm so tired of eating dinner at 9 at night and them him having to go upstairs and do MORE work before bed!
I wouldn't be as upset if he were getting paid what he should be for hours like that, but noooo, his boss would rather buy a huge farm with company money, claiming it's for "creative purposes" even though it's only him and his family spending time there, build a brand new house in the middle of the city, and then give everyone else in the company pay freezes for two years!
He wants to find new job, but hasn't been making any effort besides the random email or two... I might start getting on his back about it!
We have a girl volunteering because she's almost done with her library science master's program and wants to get more real-library experience. She's probably the same age I am (hard to tell, exactly, but she's married). She's in a very theory-based program and is constantly patronizing me. She keeps telling me very basic, Library 101 stuff as if she's certain I've never heard of it before.
Actually, honey, I have my master's degree AND four years of experience, so you can cut it out with the "you did such a good job weeding reference!" crap. It's the way she says it. As if she's addressing a four-year-old.
Speaking of Germany, where were you? When I was little, we lived about 45 minutes from Kaiserslautern.

and to PP who can't get ahold of your REA- get a new one!! Things can move very quickly in Real Estate and you need an agent that you can easily get ahold of! We are lucky we had an amazing agent. She found our house, got us out there the day it was listed, made the offer that day, if not for that we never would have gotten such an amazing house!
Random vent:
My husband races cares. It's called autocross: a course is set up with cones and it's made for handling and manageability. There are racing series that sponsor this all over the country. Anyways, he was involved in an accident on the course last weekend and it was pretty serious. People are starting to discuss it in the online forum that all these guys are a part of and I just can't help but think that it's ridiculously inappropriate- they all know each other and there are A LOT of people seeing this stuff. My husband has had such a horrible week because of the accident and they are just not helping. No one is blaming him, but they are saying things like "the guy could've died if...", or "he's lucky to be alive", etc. The accident wasn't anyone's fault- it truly was an accident. A really bad combination of timing and placement.
I want to punch them all in the face and scream at them to just keep their mouths shut!

Why does time seem to stop after lunch? I just want to go home so I can get my livingroom, kitchen, and bathroom straightened up before the inlaws come down for dinner. I've really been slacking in the house cleaning department lately...
I've been slacking, too. Adam has declared that after work today, we're going to completely clean the whole house... I almost wish I had to work late so I don't have to!!

I lived in a small town called goppingen its about an hour and half out of Stutgart. Its about 2.5 hours away from Kaiserslautern which have been to why I don't remember. I loved going to high school there it was awesome!!!
I clean the house on Saturdays but its always a mess a few days later. We're going camping this weekend but since I have Monday off I'll clean then. I just need to straighten up tonight for when the inlaws come over.
I know there was a big zoo in K-town. My brother was in high school in Germany and I was in 3rd and 4th grade. I used to love going to the German bakeshops to get German candy!!

My vent is that for some reason, my boxes are NOT unpacking themselves and getting my house properly set up. What the hell is up with that?
OMG I am so gonna have to check that out!!! Ok so I did haha saving to my favorites when I get home. They have the good kind of Mon Cheri that you can get only during the holidays I will have to wait but thats ok I am gonna have to keep lookin and they have the dark chocolate bounty wooohoo can't get that here in town only the light chocolate and they have the ritter sport chocolate flavors they don't carry here happy dancin! Gonna be placing an order very soon will have to look more later. Darn work!!!
