Still cleaning / decorating the apartment.  The state of our bedroom makes me sad... it's carpeted in his clothes, both dirty and clean.  I'm lazy about washing his clothes, and he's super lazy about putting them away.

Dude, don't even get me started. I'll PM you the deets...

Knibs- what's wrong w/ your garage? (besides your neighbor opening it LOL)

All of the garages that I owned/had when in Tennessee were finished off.  THIS garage, however, is a mess.  The floor is cracking and coming up due to the water/ice/snow/salt etc during the winter.  And the walls?  The put up sheet rock and some mud and said done.  It's not finished.  Not even one flipping coat of paint.  Nothing.

So when trying to spiff it up, it's a lot harder than it should be.  The floor needs to be sealed off and the mud needs to be fixed in TOO many places, especially the corners.

And then after it looks all better, we want to add cabinets and such to store all of the crap that belongs in the garage. (Tools, car wash stuff, yard stuff, etc.)

It's a large undertaking and will not be a one day job.  But it will be SO worth it.

  • Cleaning out the closet under our stairs. It's full of crap that has not seen daylight in 4+ years.

Cleaning out my kitchen (from previous project post) did get accomplished today. It feels great to get it all put away.

It's alright. The job I hope I get is at an animal hospital that's about a minute's drive from my apartment (Which means on nice days I can bike to work. Yay for hopefully saving on gas). Hopefully I'll hear something from them this week.

  • Right now we are in the middle of trying to buy a house. I also need to find a new job :/

I will definitely look in to that.

  • Finding a teaching job and possibly starting a food blog.  I think it would be fun, but I am not sure if I would keep up with it...

  • Organizing the H's stuff and his kids' stuff.  Our garage has boxes all over, not sure what is in them - today I opened 5 and 3 of them were empty.  The girls refuse, and I mean refuse to sleep under their comforters on their sheets, so I want to redo their bedrooms and hopefully with new sheets, new comforter, etc they will sleep under the sheets.
  • I have a nice little list...I need a job badly I hate being at home. We would love to see about buying a house but I don't think its gonna happen anytime soon. We have crappy credit, Dr bills. other than that at the moment is getting this place organized....I have been slacking since about a month befoer the wedding.

Dont get me wrong I am cleaning. Just not like I should be

  • House Hunting- got preapproved; now need to find the house!

Teaching Job Hunting- putting in applications and hopefully getting interviews this year ugh.

Cooking Plan- trying to put together a cooking plan and not get lazy.

  • Making a baby. It's gonna be hard work. The house is nearly done decorating, and that was next on our list.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • Cleaning cleaning and more cleaning. Teaching myself how to clean everyday and not just 1 day a week.

Also Baby making but that doesn't start for a few more months. It feels kinda weird to have a date set out to do something I've avoided doing my whole life lol.

Make Babies or House Hunt =)

  • Well.... H & I are about 98% sure we'll be moving at the end of Aug so that means some serious job & apartment hunting.  Ugh.  I'm super excited but also nervous, it's kind of a leap of faith and we need money yo!

i need some granny friends. lol

It seems many of the June 10 Knotties have granny hobbies... I would like to find a quilting circle with ladies under 70. No luck , so I continue to scrapbook :)

I could copy and paste my last response, but I won't.  Reader's Digest:

    1.  Redo back bathroom

    2.  Garden and landscaping

    3.  Cook more and rediscover my baking roots

    4.  Entertain more regularly (this house used to be "where it's at" (but we only have 1 turntable and a microphone)

    5. Scrapbook again... I miss my cricut and stamp pads.

  • When we get back from the HM, it's all going to be about the house. They're ordering the appraisal this week so that means at least 3 weeks before we can move in. Inbetween that time, it's furniture shopping which I'm quite excited about. J went out last week and bought all of the appliances we need so I'm officially the proud owner of a stove, fridge, and washer and dryer. That's it for the time being =)
  • We're changing our entire lifestyle. Eating much better and exercising daily.  I won't TTC until I'm in shape and feel like I can be a good example for my children (and have as uncomplicated pregnancy as possible.)
