We were looking at pics of me as a baby vs. Miles this weekend, and it kind of freaked me out. Exhibit 1 - Me circa Spring 1976; Exhibit 2 - Miles June 2010.

Re: Uncanny
Yes our faces are slightly different shapes, but the eyes are so similar, it weirded me out. I know it shouldn't be surprising - I am his mother, after all. Genetics at work, I guess.

Really Fallin? I definitely see it in the eyes.
I'm a near replica of my dad.

That is pretty remarkable. I too tried to picture you as a man.
That picture of Miles is super duper cute.
I wouldn't have said so before but now I might see it.
I'm a bizarre combo of all of my mom's and dad's recessive genes. When I'm with my mom, I'm told I look exactly like her. Same with my dad.
Thanks Vinny!
Fallin, people will often tell me that Miles looks just like me. I see a resemblance, though obviously not as strongly as when comparing baby pic to baby pic. I've been doing the same thing though - trying to imagine what I'd look like male. I guess only time will tell...
Or, you could run your pic through that program Winged used to make ManWinged. On second thought, bad idea.
I forget that I've seen them together in person, and it's much more evident than in her sig pic.

the force is strong with this one!
I talked about your kid's hair this weekend. FYI. It was good--just how you can style his mass quantity of hairs in many styles.
Dude, that is nuts. I used to look not much like either parent, but as I get older I look more and more like my mom.
ManNoisy would like you to run your face through the thingy.
"As of page 2 this might be the most boring argument ever. It's making me long for Rape Day." - Mouse
ManNoisy sort of looks like an old friend of mine (not the best picture, but it's as good as I can find).
That's crazy! I would swear it's the same kid at first glance.
ManNoisy looks like he smells like mushrooms and he wants to hurt me.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
ManNoisy is INTENSE.
If it weren't for the 70s style decor in that first photo, I would have thought it was a Miles photo! He looks identical to you as a baby.
And Lindsay, I looooooooove your new siggy picture of you and Mucho. And not just because I'm so partial to hats. More, more!

Dittttto!
(And where is this thing that turns one into a man? I'm curious if I'd look like a creepy mushroom-smelling molester too...)
Whoa. Those baby pics are identical.
ManHT smells of wet earth and desperation.
That is wild.
When Ian was a baby I thought he looked just like my baby pictures, until we looked at F's baby pictures. Genetics are cool.
