Tell me about your first kiss, and your first boyfriend. (I saw this on another board). They may not be one and the same...mine aren't
I'll post mine in a few.
Re: Question of the day
My first real kiss was when I was...15? 14? I'm not sure. I think I was 15, actually. ANYWAY - It was right before Halloween, and I think we were watching one of the Children of the Corn movies. Either that, or The Exorcist. LOL. Romantic, right? We were never really official, but I guess we sort of dated... I dunno it was weird. I was friends with him all through high school.
My first "real" boyfriend was a total d-bag and I refuse to talk about him.
My first kiss was super-gross... his name was Steven and he drooled all over my face. He was one of my first "boyfriends"... .you know, the kind you "date" in middle school for like 2 weeks and then break up and then "date" again like a month later. My first real, real boyfriend I dated all through my 9th grade year and the beginning of 10th. When I was a freshman, he was a junior and had a truck, so it was awesome. His name was Hank, but I called him Henry. Man, this is bringing back some memories!!! I had a blast with him, but I've got someone even better now!!
Just realized how vague my post is. Sorry ladies, 9th grade memories are a bit muddy. I think I've blocked a lot of it out. LOL. When I think back though, most of my kisses back then were during horror movies or something. What was my problem? haha
Well my first "boyfriend" if thats what you want to call him haha was in 7th grade. We did the whole "school dating" thing but we were only together about a month before he dumped me for another girl. Needless to say I was heartbroken but soon got over it. I only dated 2 guys in HS and those relationships were very short lived. I went to a VERY small school and all the guys were losers.
My HH was actually my first kiss
. Alot of people can't believe it but yes I did not have my first kiss until I was 18 years old. HH and I were watching Flicka with one of his brothers and one of our friends. At the end of the movie the brother and friend got up and went outside to make a phone call, thats when HH kissed me
. I knew he was going to and was really nervous but excited. He knew I'd never been kissed before though and was really sweet about it. Another thing that made me fall in love with him!
Oh dear!
My first kiss came from my first boyfriend. To put this in context, I had very strict parents and I was homeschooled back in the middle of the woods from 3rd grade up through high school graduation. Somewhat obviously, I did not date in high school. I was "not allowed," which was sort of beside the point, since I didn't know any guys.
When I was heading off to college, two time zones away, my parents told me that I wasn't allowed to date for the first two years. I am such a rule-follower and was so trained to be a good daughter that the thought of disobeying never crossed my mind (not that I was really asked out much or would have known what to do if I'd gone on a date; I really did need to learn some social skills first).
So I got my first boyfriend a few months before I turned 20. He'd been one of my best friends throughout my freshman and sophomore years of college, and we officially started dating at the end of sophomore year. It was a fairly conservative Christian school, so there wasn't any pressure to be physical. We did nothing more than hold hands and occasionally peck on the cheek, which was starting to drive me crazy, but I was bound and determined to wait him out.
Seven months after we "got together," we went to the homecoming banquet. He walked me back to my door at midnight. It was completely silent, nobody else was in the courtyard, and the snow was falling softly down through the streetlights. And he finally kissed me. He was like that-- everything had to be "perfect."
My first kiss with HH (a few years and a few guys later) was somewhat different. We'd been casually dating for a couple of months as we got to know each other, but we'd done no more than hug. I was over at his place one evening because he had made me dinner. We watched Transformers on the couch after, kind of snuggling a bit, and then we got up for something, I don't remember what. He sat down on the floor and grabbed my legs. I was utterly confused and said "Are you trying to shoestring tackle me?" Then he bounced up and grabbed my face and kissed me. And then we made out. Thus began a lifetime of Matt trying to be smooth and failing utterly.
Much more my style.
"My first kiss went a little like thisssss...." Any Ke$ha fans? haha
I was... 13? 14? In 8th grade. It was actually days before 9/11. He was 2 years older and used to sneak from the high school to come see me. It was at my locker. We got yelled at. lol we're still friends though!
Your stories of your first kisses happening when you were 18, or with the man you eventually married are making me feel like the slutty one of the grouip. Haha
My first real kiss (with tongue! Gasp!) happened shortly after I turned 12. I was in grade seven, and it felt like I was the last person on earth who hadn't been kissed. Where I'm from, kids play kissing games in elementary school, like kissing tag, I couldn't tell you how old I was when I had my first "peck". Probably 5, haha. Anyway, the guy's name was Adam, and I was taller than him. He had liked me for a while, but I hadn't been interested, then I liked him for a while and he wasn't interested...we kind of went back and forth with the "liking" for a few months. Then one weekend I was hanging out at my friend's house, and he was hanging out at his friends house. Our friends just happened to be next door neighbors, so the four of us ended up hanging out one afternoon in March. We were outside playing in the woods, when I told him I wanted to kiss him...I just said it, with no lead up. We walked a little farther into the woods (out of view of our friends) and we french kissed for probably a minute and a half. I remember he tasted really salty, and I didn't move my tongue AT ALL. It was probably the worst first kiss in the history of the universe, but I thought it was wonderful. Of course, we never hung out again after that...lol. My next kiss wasn't until two years later.
High school where I'm from starts in Grade 10, and even though my parents always told me I wasn't allowed to "date" until I was 16, once I got to high school I was allowed to go on group dates, which is basically what people did in my high school anyway. I was 14 in Grade 10, and dated (and kissed!) plenty of guys that year, and through the beginning of Grade 11. In the spring of Grade 11 (when I was 16) I met my first boyfriend. We were an odd couple, as I was a cheerleader, I was loud, I was pretty social, and I was involved in everything...he was quieter, really really smart, and REALLY well-behaved. Haha my total opposite. He didn't drink, he didn't party, he was really involved in his church...I have no idea where the attraction was, but I guess opposites really attract. We started dating, much to the gossip of my entire high school, and we were together for over three years, into the second year of university. He was a really nice guy but by the time I got to university and realized there was a whole world out there that I was missing because I was tied down with him, the flame just burned out. The last I heard, he got married a few months before I did...I haven't spoken to him in years and years. He's still kind of a nerd. But a really wealthy engineer!! Haha
I'm a closet Ke$ha fan... I'm ashamed of myself... her songs are so annoying, but they're so damn catchy and I can't help it.... I was jamming out to your love is my drug in the car this morning because it was on the radio and Adam called me and was like "what the hell are you listening to??" I was like "um................... ke$ha???" He laughed at me. Every time she comes out with a new song, I hate it... then after a few weeks of hearing it on the radio, I catch myself singing along to it.
I was in university when 9/11 happened. You just made me feel really old.
My first kiss... Hmmm was when I was about 12 I think. A hot summer night in Alabama. His parents and my parents used to hang out on the weekends so of course us kids all hung out. HAHA wow so long ago. 26 years ouch i am old.
First Boyfriend I would have to say was my Summer between my Junior and Senior year in high school. I met him at prom he was from out of town and brought another girl to prom. I had only been there for 3 months in the little town we were in so I went to prom with my friend. It is so cheesy but we saw each other from across the room and we both had the same feeling we had to meet. (so silly really) We talked for a few minutes later that night but he was with Madeline so of course he needed to take care of her. We all four were leaving prom My friend Peggi,Madeline, David & I when Debbi Gibson Lost in your eyes started playing and he grabbed my arm and said you wanna dance. Sigh..... the rest was history. We dated for 2 years he proposed and I said yes. Never married him but oh those summer nights. Makes me smile. By the way Madeline didn't like me anymore after that. She spread crazy rumors about me at school that last few weeks of school. It was funny to me and she wasn't actually dating him he took her to prom because she begged him to. I am glad she did I have a lot of fond memories of that summer.
Me too... I was in the freshman dorms in college.
I was in my first year Psych class, with this craaaaazy prof that we had...there were about 450 people in the class. We were waiting for class to start when the first plane hit, she came in and told us what happened, and 450 people rushed out into the lobby of the building while people were wheeling out every available tv, and literally hundreds of us were standing in the lobby watching the tvs in shock. I'll NEVER forget those days.
9/11 I was taking my kids to school they were in kindergarten you wanna talk about old haha I Graduated in 90
Not considering little pecks and little 4/5th grade boyfriends?
My first french kiss was during my freshman year in high school. He was a sophomore and it was on my first real date with anyone. He had taken me to Sonic after school one day (believe it or not, it was the first time I?d been to Sonic) and it wasn?t anything special, he was dropping me off at my car in the school parking lot and he (unexpectedly) kissed me. His name was Perry and we?re still friends to this day.
My first kiss with DH was the day before I moved off to college, sitting in the Burger King parking lot, in my car. We?d been sitting there talking for HOURS (pretty far up into the morning I was leaving for school) and as he was talking to me about kissing me & he leaned over a little and smiled at me, then we both kissed each other! It was the sweetest kiss?::le sigh::?not a french kiss, but not just a peck, very sweet.
I wasn?t the kind of girl who always had a boyfriend...I was very tom-boyish, playing all the sports and lifting weights with the guys and such, so most guys didn?t look at me that way. My first (what I consider) real boyfriend (also my first love) was during my junior year in high school. His name was Ryan, and he was from a different school in the county (he was two years older than me). He was my best friends boyfriends best friend?if that makes sense. We dated for 8 months & he was a douche?we broke up when I found out he cheated on me while I was away on a trip (found out from my best friends? b/f mentioned above).
I was in 7th grade at the time and I called my dad at break because I thought 9-11 was going to cause another Great Depression!!!
My first kiss was in 6th grade with my "boyfriend" Drew. We actually went out for like 6 months or something like that.
I remember going to parties in 6th and 7th grade and we always played spin the bottle or truth or dare. We would have rounds, so if you spun the bottle and it landed on a person for the 2nd time, you would have to kiss with tongue, or there would be a time limit on it. Now that I am a teacher, it grosses me out to think of how young I was and how me and my friends were making out all over 6th grade!
I was a freshman in high school, sitting in Biology class. Our teacher turned on the TV and we were watching some of the footage and she started crying. I remember not knowing/understanding exactly what was going on, but I don?t think I can ever forget the way I felt that day when our teacher started crying.

My first kiss was during a game of seven minutes in heaven in 6th grade. We got put into the closet like 4 times. And then went through the rest of middle school not talking to each other.
My first real-ish boyfriend was in 8th grade. He had all of a sudden blossomed. He had been a huge dork in 6/7th grade and according to him I used to kick him and leave bruises on his shins in 6th grade. We date for a few months and then the summer before high school I broke up with him for a sophomore, haha. We had some issues, but got over it because we had to sit next to each other every year during testing. We finally had a class together again senior year and became really good friends. I would give him girlfriend advice, and randomly people would bring up our middle school romance. We had to sit alphabetically at graduation so we sat together and had fun being stupid the whole time. When I saw him like a year after we graduated I pounced on him with a great big hug and had to reintroduce him to my parents, who didn't recognize him at all.
My first boyfriend was Jason, and we started "dating" the summer between my 7th & 8th grade year. We met at church camp. And the reason I put the word DATING in quotes is because we really just walked around camp holding hands, and when we went home after camp, we talked on the phone a lot. He came down to visit me in Vancouver (he lived in Seattle) once and we went to a movie with friends and when he left, he gave me a quick peck on the lips.
The summer between my freshman & sophomore year of h/s was when I had my first "real" kiss. And it was with Jason. At camp. Right under the tree by the chapel. LOL It was actually....FANTASTIC as far as first kisses go. I've heard so many horror stories about how the first kiss is awkward, sloppy, etc., but WOW. I get tingly even thinking about my first kiss (sorry HH!).
We dated on/off quite a bit, seeing each other in the summers at camp. He finally moved down here to Vancouver and we saw each other quite a bit then. He's a GREAT guy, really could make me laugh. We're still friends, but haven't seen each other in a while. I'm friends w/his mom on FB, and when HH & I got married, she posted, "I wanted you to marry my son years ago, but it looks like you're happy" or something like that.
Awww.
Married May 1st, 2010
I had a boyfriend for about a week freshman year of high school, so I don't know if I'd actually count him. After him was a guy I met my sophomore year. My neighbor went to Catholic school and my friends and I stopped over at his house one night and he had a bunch of friends over. There was one guy I thought was really cute. I later told me neighbor who set things up.
We had been dating for 2 months before he kissed me. Everyone was over at my house and we were all out on the trampoline. Everyone went into the house to watch a movie but the two of us stayed outside for a bit. One of his friends told him not to come in until he kissed me. So I knew it was coming, but it was amazing.
I was absolutely crazy about him and we dated for about a year and I was absolutely devastated when we broke up. We had an on again off again thing for a few years until I met DH. We lost touch for several years and then reconnected on Myspace. DH and I broke up for a while and the ex and I started talking a lot, but nothing came of it because he was living him China.
I have a lot of fond memories from the time he and I were together, but I'm glad I have DH instead.
I was in 8th grade stage craft class.... sorry guys lol
I don't remember my first kiss or who my first boyfriend was, so I'll tell you about my best first kiss.
H had invited me over for dinner for our first date (although by then we had known each other as acquaintances for years). When I arrived, there were lit candles everywhere and he made a great dinner and we drank nice wine. We walked to an ice cream shop, then walked around and went back to his apartment and talked. It got super late and I was staying at my grandfather's at the time (who is deaf without his hearing aids in and wouldn't have heard the apartment buzzer after taking them out to go to bed), so I asked Jon if I could stay over. I didn't think anything of it since I had known him so long. I knew he wouldn't get the "wrong idea" about me. So he loaned me a pair of his pajamas and went to sleep in the living room. I came out to say good night to him. And he gave me some sort of compliment and looked at me a certain way and I said, "you can kiss me but that's it." So he did, and it was the best kiss I'd ever had. haha.
My first real boyfriend was a boy named Ryan in 8th grade, we dated for 4 whole months (which in middle school time is, like, totally 4eVeR!) but we never kissed... I was too nervous! We are both actually still really good friends to this day!
My first kiss was the next year with a boy who was a sophomore... I really didn't want to (because I was still too nervous) but he didn't really give me a choice! We were hugging and he lifted my face up to his and then just came at me open mouthed... it felt like teeth-on-teeth gnashing and spit. It was AWFUL!
Luckily my next boyfriend was a really good kisser and got me ready for DH who I started dating as a junior!
First kiss when I was 17. I had a HUGE crush on him and finally go the nerve to ask him out. We went to a movie, then to the park and it happened. Wet, sloppy... he was such a bad kisser!
My first real boyfriend I had known for a really long time. I knew there was something about him when I met him, but he was four years older than I. Fast forward to my 18th birthday, he called me and asked me out. We were together off and on for 1 1/2 years. I spent most of that toting him around b/c he drank way too much and never had a valid license. I even lent him $700 to pay off a drinking and driving ticket. Lord, what was I thinking???!!!
Thankfully, my taste in men improved!
I think I was 13 or 14 for my first 'real' kiss. It was during summer camp. He shoved his tongue down my throat. He looked like Yoda. He was also my first boyfriend, for all of about 2 days.
This thread has become a when was your first kiss/where were you during 9/11, and for the second part...
I woke up for school and saw the news. I was in grade 12 and my mom let me skip my first class (I think it was accounting) so we could see what was going to manifest. I lived on the west coast, so things had already happened by the time I would've been on my way.
wow waiting 7months for a kiss. that is amazing. I'm pretty sure I slept w/ HH w/in 7 hours. Who is the hoebag now!
1st kiss was during spin the bottle. I was 14 or 15. ewww.
you're not the only one....
I'm such a skeezer!! But 4 years later and we've been inseparable since the day we met!!
