Show me a picture of your baby!
Re: Show me a picture of your baby!
so after I posted this, I read the rest of katy's post about adopting the dog, with all the doggy pictures. But oh well. Cute animals are cut animals. I'm about to be an AW, just fyi.
Chloe in January 08, at 7 weeks old and about 7 lbs, after her first bath
one and a half years and 90lbs later...
wrapped up in a blanky
bringing me her froggie
snuggling with Isahia
and our kitties snuggling. they're 7 years old. Lily is the black one who bit me that one time.
sorry so many pictures...I couldn't decide!
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
This is when our kitten James was first brought home from the shelter- he was living in such a small, confined space that he thought his little box was for sleeping and there was food, poo, and litter all over the cage. Poor little guy!
Our other cat Walter is a year older, but acts like an old man! He doesn't even care that he's being walked on...
.... or that we dress him in Christmas sweaters...
...Or that we throw him in the air!
Meg (Corgi mix) and Billy (Brussels Griffon)
Joe
Petey sporting his splint for his broken toe. Should come off in another week or two.
So many to choose from but here are a few of Gixxer!
This is Maverick and he is such a goof ball, we love him!
This is Gulliver. He went through a sink phase a few years ago. I got him less than two weeks after getting my job and first apartment, right after grad school. We were meant to be.
He looks freaked out in these pictures, but he's very sweet, silly, and easygoing. He's also the farthest thing from an alpha male that there ever was. He loves to snuggle, especially with Matt, and he makes the funniest little "Rrrr! Rrrrr! Rrrrrr!" sounds while he runs around the house and up and down the stairs (he follows us everywhere).
Our baby, Daisy! She's a miniature schnauzer and she's ABSOLUTELY spoiled by her paw-paw (my daddy) and both of us! I'm not sure how my dad will handle her leaving with us when we finish our house...
My Brody... or my Brody-monster or my Booger
The kitties: Sophie, Hefner, Bella and Jax:
Jax and Bella at 5 weeks:
Me and Jax:
Me and Hefner:
I don't have a picture of Turtle on my work computer, but she's just your typical Red-Eared Slider.
Stella and her bunny, Mr. Bojangles. Before she ate him.
She is a bit of a camera whore.
This is what she does whenever there is a spare blanket. She is a total snuggler.
At the dog park, her second favourite place in the world.
After she got stung by something in the backyard. She was fine, but looked like this for two days. This is the second time it's happened to her.
And in her lil pink sweater
haha it still fits her now that she's all grown up, but it's kinda tight, and she's super furry around her neck, so it makes it stick out all funny and she looks like a lion
Now she's all growed up, wearing a yellow rain coat hahahaha
My Luca girl! I have WAY more pictures at home, but I'm at work now. I think most of you have already seen this one.

I also have a cat, a geriatric ferret, a holland lop rabbit and a leopard gecko. They used to all be in my siggy on TK.
With Santa on her 2nd birthday!
I take tons of pictures of her.. it's a little ridiculous.
EDIT: can't forget this one!
hayley - Your dog has quite a fabulous wardrobe!
Jax is my Little Man... He STILL sits on my shoulder while I do stuff around the house. He's the only cat I've ever had that was full grown who will just perch on my shoulder like a parrot. He'll just chill there while I do laundry, or walk around the house, etc...
I'm in love with all your pets!!!
Ali, I keep trying to talk DH into getting a Great Dane, but he's stuck on getting a Rottweiler... so I vote that you upload pics everyone once and a while so I can live vicariously through you!
Our Mavrik when he was a pup ...
Now he's almost 10!
Sydney staking her claim...
Ohhhh Megan, Rotties are the sweeeeeeeeetest dogs!! I have known a few in my life and they are all the world's biggest sooks. I love them!
That's the second time I've seen you use the term "sook"... I might just be being a blonde, but what is a sook?
A telepathic waitress...
snort.... I think that's sookIE, silly!!
Danes are amazing. Rotties are sweet, but danes are sweeter. lol. You need one.
But anyway, I have no problem with posting pics. I love showing her off!
Ali, I LOVE that picture of you and your H with Luca!!
BTW, what kind of camera do you have?? Your pictures are great! I've seen some of them on FB too and the quality looks awesome!
Thanks!
My new camera is a Canon Powershot G11. It is freaking awesome. The pics I posted today were from my old camera though. I just like to play photographer :P
See, it's good to know someone from Canada! You learn something new every day! I now know what a sook is, and you know what a funnel cake is!!
Well now you have to promise that you're going to introduce the word "sook" to Alabama, and start using it in your regular rotation.
Another word that I didn't realize wasn't universal was the word "puck". I know you all know what a hockey puck is, but where I'm from it was used like this: "I'm gonna give ya a puck in the face, wha?" You didn't want to hear it because it meant someone was going to punch you. I used that in my first year of university and people looked at me like I had three heads.
