You have a plastic container like this blue one (ours growing up was red, but whatevs) and you just put the bag of milk in it, and snip a little hole in the corner of the bag to pour the milk. You have to be careful though, because different family members cut the hole different sizes...so if you were used to mom cutting it with a small hole and then your brother opens the next bag and cuts a big hole, you were probably gonna spill some milk!
I can't BELIEVE that this is new to you. I really had NO idea milk in bags was a Canadian thing.
We even got our school milk delivered in little personal size bags when I was in elementary school, and you would just poke a straw in it to drink it, or bite the corner off. Now they have cartons though.
