I was a 2006 defender because we were friends IRL and she gave the appearance that it was a lot less than was made out of it. This turned out to be a web of lies and she threw me to the batcave anyway, so ...yah. It wouldn't stop me from defending a friend again, even if my sideeye factor was jumping. We don't see everything on the nest... just like in real life I guess.
HW (am luvs jm, floyd) has traditionally been very funny but not always great at seeing the line between funny and totally appalling. She got the shizz flamed out of her on ML for the husband hopping on her with the kid in the bed. I'd say 87% of us are pretty desperate for her to leave her husband but she is determined to "try everything" before doing that so they are in counseling. Personally, I've given up on trying to get her to see the light, but the old-timers still all consider her one of us and I guess we'll support her until she makes the right decision or perform the shunning of all shuns if she decides to stay without the DH making a total 180. At the least we'd like to see her happy and sane.
Secretheart's little manifesto is hilarious and misplaced and just, fantastic. It appeals to my inner Heather and kind of makes me want to force her to lick old white dog poop.
I think some of you are pretty funny and I think some of you are pretty meh, which seems to be reciprocal on both boards. It's so nest, it's very funny. ML is just an old board, I guess...a long time ago it was the only board so we're sort of .... friends now. You fit in or you don't, it's really not something we hold in our special ML powers (lmmfao), the ability to de-noob someone.
If you're cool and you know it, clap your hands, or don't. ha.
In summary: I think the interplay of boards can only enhance our sad sad lives.
afterthought: I don't know why we say retarded and gay so much, but it's certainly not anything that has a motivation behind it, such as shock value.
