Anyone up to anything fun this weekend?
We're going to the Melting Pot tonight to celebrate my associates degree completion (still have about 3 more years, but I'm 1/3 of the way done...plus I love cheese). Tomorrow we have a birthday party for our friends son and Sunday I will be on my couch all day finishing up Nip/Tuck and starting Dexter.

Re: Weekend Plans?
Likely just relaxing tonight.
Tomorrow, I have a Bachelorette party in Harrisburg. Spa, wine bar, dinner, and relaxing on the beautiful deck at my best friends (bachelorette is her sister) house. We are supposed to have some beautiful weather, so I'm excited.
Sunday, heading back home and cleaning/laundry/laying low.
I need to get my cheese loving self to a Melting Pot one of these days.
H has a work thing today, so he's skipping out early and I'm meeting him for beers.
Tomorrow we're going to the Sox game then out for BBQ.
Sunday I might head to a coworkers party, but she lives on the Cape and I'm not sure I want to head home in Sunday afternoon Cape traffic.
I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
I'm heading home to NY for the weekend. One of my bff's is due with her first this week, but no sign of a baby yet, boo.
And Christin, you should totally come out here in Oct. Dooo eett.

I think the best time to visit New England is in the fall. Winter pretty much sucks sweaty balls, but October is amazing. Plus I love seasonal beers, Halloween is my favorite day of the year and Salem is my favoritest place ever.

I hope to just relax and eat ice cream all weekend after a very full last weekend. I will probably also make some curtains and marvel over my new vacuum. I might paint the fireplace, but I'm not sure I'm ready to open that can of worms just yet.

For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
One thing we won't be doing - house hunting. I think we're taking a few weeks off to regroup and get enthused again.
Otherwise, hopefully just lots of R&R this weekend. We're going out for dinner tomorrow night with friends and ILs are babysitting, which should be nice.
Win!
I had plans to paint and start building an entryway shelf, but we just got free HBO so I have a feeling I'm going to end up sitting in the basement watching movies all weekend instead.

A story to make you feel better: We put offers in on several houses and didn't get them, before we finally got the house that we live in now. The last house that we offered on we absolutely fell in love with, and when we didn't get it we were really upset. We stopped looking for about a month after because we were just discouraged that we wouldn't be able to find anything that compared. But we found our house almost as soon as we started looking again. Our house is around the corner from the house we didn't get, and I walk our dogs past it all the time. And every time I think how happy I am that we didn't get it, because our house is so much nicer, and it was cheaper too!

Taking a group of friends boating tomorrow on Lake Ontario on our new boat that we got last weekend. We're staying the night and then hitting up Seneca Lake and all of its glorious wineries on the way home.
ETA: Ok, not ALL of its glorious wineries. Just some. While all might be an awesome idea in theory, practically it probably doesn't work out so well.
Tomorrow I am going to my future SIL final dress fitting with her so I can see how to lace the dress up and bustle it for her on the big day. Then we're going back to her place to do a couple little wedding projects she has left. Might be going to a triple A game at night.
Sun we are having a few friends over for a bbq.

Ben is almost 1 already? WTF man. I feel like he and Ian were just born.
I have 3 hours of work left before I'm done. Then we pick up MIL from the airport, then if it's warm enough we're taking Will to go play in a toddler water park thing (and if it's not we'll go to the zoo). After Will goes to sleep, Lorne and I will go on a date. We have no idea what we're doing yet though.
My induction is scheduled at 9 AM tomorrow, but I need to call to make sure the hospital isn't backed up with other people giving birth. If they bump it back we'll take Will to music class in the morning. If they don't, I'll start to birthin'.
Sunday I hope to be eating carbs and hanging out with our daughter.
