Re: Saturday is a good day for
OMG, that is so exciting Noisy. Good induction vibezzz headed your way!
I felt this way too and it made me kind of weepy too. It's kind of bittersweet that we'll never again be brand new parents, having no idea of what to expect - all that anticipation/fear. I have come to feel that everything about the parenting journey is just so fleeting. While it's wonderful to see Miles grow and change, I also wish time would slow down every once in a while, just so I could savor each step along the way.
Yay baby Evie!!
But...I am now getting all heavy chested at the thought of being second time parents (no, I am not knocked up yet). While I really look forward to that day, I also can see how hard it would be to change this great family dynamic.
I think your MIL can take a few hours to herself while you all have private family time. But, I'm a b*tch like that when it comes to my MIL.
That said, I am more than excited to bring home baby #2 in a more prepared state. That first day home, alone, without medical professionals right next to us, scared the everlovingshit out of us. Hopefully, the second time around, we will trust that we can keep this little human alive for a little while.
The hair grows in thick where the horn used to be.
I told Zane last night that I love being able to interact with Ethan and actually have him notice what's going on, but part of me misses my squishy little newborn that would fall asleep in my arms and cuddle.
Zane's solution: Oh, we'll just have another one so we can always have a squishy newborn in the house. ::LANIE FACE::
my care package of an industrial sized flashlight and large pizza should be on its way to you by now.
this is so exciting! I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible for you tomorrow
omigosh! this is so exciting! best of luck to you and your family.
I cannot WAIT to see peeeectures! Evie has a lot of cuteness to live up to from her big brother. Will is going to be such an awesome big brother.
Yay!!! Congrats Noisy! I can't wait to see pictures.
Also, you people made me cry. Thanks a lot.
When Kristen said she got teary hugging Maggie before going to the hospital, I think I was all, "Huh, that's odd. I bet I won't do that." But I totally will. I was getting teary during our storytime last night.
Thanks for the well wishes all!
