Pulled pork- success!

We just finished dinner (yeah early but Dh didnt have lunch and was hungry!).  To be honest, I couldnt even taste any kind of seasonings, which is fine.  I added a local bbq sauce and had it on dinner rolls.  It was good :)

It is seriously so easy Carrie!  I always use pork tenderloin b/c it's lean (and Im picky LOL).  I cooked it on high for about 4 hours and it was ready to shred and add the bbq sauce.  You could probably use any kind of soda- that makes it reallllly tender (but all I have tried is coke, or root beer, or either the ginger ale).

  • I've done it before by putting about a cup of BBQ sauce over the pork and letting it cook for about 6 hours.  I've also sliced up an onion to include while it cooks.  Super yummy!

But since I have no pork here...maybe we'll go to Applebee's tonight so I can get their BBQ pulled pork sliders.  Smile
