1) whether Train was ever even kinda cool? Was I on crack back in the day when I sorta liked them, or have they become uber uber uber cheesy? Rhyming sister and mister makes my head hurt.
2) why Brian Boitano has a cooking show on the food network?
3) How this skinny biitch on food network "makes extra bacon" when she makes it to use in other dishes. If there is bacon around, it goes in my belleh, not in the fridge.
Re: Can some tell me...
1) Today Show, right? I was wondering the same thing? They have fans? That make signs? Weird...
2) I'd rather Brian Boitano have a cooking show than the insufferable Claire whateverhernameis from "5 Ingredient Fix". I hate that show so much it's bordering on insanity.
3) Who?
I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
I'm no help with the Train question because I like them. Yes, they are cheesy, but I love Pat Monahan's voice, and their songs are catchy. I like that new song of theirs, "If it's love", I believe.
I also kind of like Brian Boitano's show, but I've only caught it once. I think it's because he reminds me of a friend of mine. Not sure what credentials he's got for his own cooking show though.
Which skinny biitch would that be? Yeah, if I'm making bacon, it will all be consumed (partly by me, partly by Mabel).
I'm so ridiculously into my Sara Bareilles station on Pandora this week. I've decided that I LOVE Ingrid Michaelson, Regina Spektor, and Kate Nash.
1) I sometimes wonder if Today show interns make signs for people to hold during these concerts.
2) Food Network has too much time to fill.
3) Leftover bacon is an oxymoron.
1. I'd rather snap my own arm than hear song that again.
2. Unless he's flipping pancakes while doing a tripple lutz while flipping pancakes i'm not sure I'd be impressed by anything he could do on FN
3. mmmmmmmmbaconmmmmmmm
Ooooh, yeah, I hate Claire with huge eyes too. I'm oh-so-pissed that she is now hosting the challenges.
This is Robin Miller of Quick Fix Meals, also ironically with 5 ingredients.
This to infinity. She makes me not want to watch FNC, and I love that show.
I liked Train's first album a lot. Since then, meh.

I find Claire's show insulting. "We're making French Toast! The ingredients are bread, eggs, and cream!" No shiit, really??!? Fukcing useless show.
However, I *adore* Anne Burrell.

Yeah, I think Train used to be better. If I hear that damn song one more time I may go postal.

Wow, interesting. I find the songs they've played on Pandora pretty funny with fun instrumentation.
Aaaaaaaaaaaugh, yes, I hate this chick. I didn't realize she had another show. She has to be sleeping with someone or blackmailing someone, right? There's no reason in the world to hire her. She's awful.
I love Kate Nash! I like girls with pretty voices who sing about rage-y things.
Brian Boitano is here this weekend for the Bite of Oregon! I was just singing "What Would Brian Boitano Do" on the way into work this morning.

Train has really only had a few singles out, right? Drops of Jupiter, Meet Virginia, Hey Soul Sister, and now their new one. I feel like they've been around a while but don't produce a lot of hits. I still like them, though.
I sometimes don't have enough bacon for a recipe because I will eat it as I am cooking it for said recipe. So I make extra just for the sole purpose of having some extra to eat.
Also, I just discovered that the reduced sodium bacon we've been buying (for H's high blood pressure) only has 70 calories in 2 pieces, and it tastes good! WHOO! I could have been indulging in much more bacon than I previously have been.
I have an unnatural love for Train and I am really bummed I missed them on the Today Show. I will agree that the songs they put on the radio are cheesy and overplayed. The good stuff is the stuff they don't release.
My babies won't let me eat bacon. It's one of those things they just don't want.

Boxerfan, jinx.
Although after hearing some interviews with her, I do say I actually like Ke$ha. And I like her songs.
I take my high five back. Have you heard the my first kiss song? With the kissy noises? It makes my ears bleed.

Yes, that song makes me want to drive into oncoming traffic
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
Fireflies is a tie with Magic by B.o.B. as the worst song of all time.
I love Ke$ha. Eat it.
(although My First Kiss is actually by 3OH!3, she just sang one little part, so I blame that band for that awful song)

Yes. I agree. It's not a TRUE Ke$ha song, so it doesn't count.
Of course, she also did that "You spin my head right round, right round, when you go down" song that I can't stand, so maybe I only like certain Ke$ha songs.

I agree with all of the song hate in this thread. Except for Train, I like them.
Especially that "Cooler than me" song, and "Fireflies". BLEH.
I haven't seen Brian's food show yet, but I think it's hilarious that the whole idea is based on a South Park joke.
