Why am I talking so loud?

Re: Why am I talking so loud?

  • I wish I did slug him.  But I didn't.  I was just in shock and felt a little kicked-in-the-gut.  It was strange though - when he said that, something clicked in my head and I finally understood that for as long as I was with him, I'd be trying to convince him that I was worthy of his love.  I no longer cared to do that.  Once I came to that realization, it was pretty easy to let go of the relationship.

  • Gawd November. I actually just felt sick to my stomach for you.

  • Friday, I spent all day prepping and painting the ceilings, and then we went to a gay bar for karaoke after Brett was done with work.  Super fun but I was SO tired.  Plus it just kind of dawned on me that we were with my husband's boss and what a different relationship we have with him.

Saturday we slept late and watched the Book of Eli (sucked) and then went to the hardware store to get a bunch of crap.  Then Sunday Brett worked his last morning show, and I painted some more, and then we made dinner together and met our new neighbors, who seem nice and are young (which is good.  We're in a neighborhood of old people).

November, what an ASS.  I'm just in shock.

Well good for you. And now you have an awesome husband and an adorable baby. But still, man, like mod said. Reading that made me a little sick to my stomach for you. Same with SH's husband. I wouldn't be so forgiving of the "He just has bad timing!" It's just flat out disrespectful to do that sort of thing at someone else's wedding, both to you and to the bride and groom. Be a grown-up, slap a smile on your face, and talk it out when you get home, FFS.

  • Friday Night we stayed in and ordered pizza. Saturday I got up, went to the gym and went shopping. Then I went to a rummage sale that my MIL was helping organize. Then we went to the Jazz festival for a bit. Later that night DH and I went to watch the UFC fights with some friends. On Sunday we got up and went to the Goetta Festival with some friends. Then we went to the IL's house for dinner and things got ackward really quickly due to an issue with some abandoned cats. DH got into an arguement with his mom and sister so we left. Later I tested and got a BFN (It might be too early and I swore to myself I would wait, but I didn't) DH made some jerky comments (probably not actually jerky but I was pretty upset) and we got into it. He went to bed mad and I tried to get some advise about the situation and got called a crazy cat lady. Good times. Not my best day!

Today I'm off work and slowly but surely working on cleaning this house.

Yeah, not the best idea to post when you're upset and can't explain things. It still amazed me that after I did CLEARLY explain myself people kept saying "you expect them to take the cats in". Um no. never said that. Luckily MIL called this morning to get info and the cats will be relocated.

  • November, I'd say your ex has the personality of a tuna fish sandwich, but I suspect DeeWee has better people skills.  What a douche.
  • So Fozzy, what did you and your H fight about this time?

  • I also saw Fozzy's post about the cats and to be honest you didn't make a whole lot of sense.  Also if there truly is a cat with multiple eyes I must see a picture.  That just doesn't happen and if it does it belongs in Ripley's and you could make a ton o money.

THIS.  My tummy actually dropped reading that.  I'm sure you're super happy the way things worked out with your awesome (new) husband and cutie kid, but my heart just hurt for you then.  Yuck.
