question chain

Ok, on my local board, we've been going back and forth answering questions all day.  So I thought I would try it here!

I'll ask a question. Whoever gets to this next will answer the question and then ask one themselves.  The next person will answer that and ask another question...etc etc.  WR or NWR.

First question: What was your least favorite part of wedding planning?

First question: What was your least favorite part of wedding planning?

Making the guest list. It took forever and it sucked having to eliminate some people for budget reasons.

Second question: If you could go back to school for absolutely anything, what would it be?

  • I like this game!

I still am in school, but if I could afford it, I would do a dance major. It's my lifelong, soon-to-be expiring dream to dance in a professional company.

Third Question: If you were forced to change one aspect of your wedding, what would it be?

  • Fun!!!

If I could change one aspect about my wedding it would have been having it be a destination wedding at the beach alongside the ocean. It was lovely having it at the rose garden though, but DH and I love the ocean so much :)

Fourth Question: If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go, and how long would you stay there?

  • Glad everyone likes the game!

I'd go back to Hawaii!  We are watching Hawaii 5-0 right now and keep seeing all these places we visited.  I'd go for 2 weeks.  I just wish it wasn't a 10 hour plane ride to get there.

Who do you talk to most besides DH each day?

Fifth Question:  If you could go back and switch your career (as when you decided on it--college, high school, etc,) would you and why and what would you be instead?)

I was too slow.  And I got a tough one.  I don't think I would change my job as a teacher, but I would love to get out of the politics in school districts!

Here's my question again...who do you talk to most in a day besides DH?

Here's my question again...who do you talk to most in a day besides DH?

It's probably a tie between three people. My mom because I live with her right now while DH is away at training. And she's also one of my best friends. My friend Brittany because I am at school everyday with her. And my best friend Jess. We only get to chat on the phone and through text because she's in a different state. I miss her so much!

Next Question: What was your favorite part of your reception?

  • I had lots of favorites from the reception..too many to pick one. Among my top few would be DH surprising me by singing "The Way You Look Tonight" to me, dancing with my dad, seeing my mom and dad dancing together, the last dance of the evening

Next Question: If you won a million dollars, what are the first three things you'd spend it on?

  • If you won a million dollars, what are the first three things you'd spend it on?

    1) New bike for husband.  It's like a girl pining for some Jimmy Choo's.

    2) A new car for us.  We desperately need one.

    3) I would remodel our church's basement, because it woulddrastically improve our church's budget, but I fear the money will never get raised.  Hopefully that doesn't cost more than a million dollars.

.If you could take three things to a desserted island, what would they be?

    image
  • Deserted island...

    1) a bikini

    2) a book

    3) iPod

Can I be deserted there with DH?

Next question: What is your all-time favorite book?

Daisypath Anniversary tickers    Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

NEXT question: If you could perform one miracle, what would it be?

Selfishly I'd cure my sister of her disease. But I suppose I could broaden that to curing diseases in general.

     This game sounds like fun!

My favorite fun activity/hobby would be a toss up between going on hikes with DH and being able to sit around reading a good book :)

What would your ideal Saturday look like?

    image
  • Sleeping past 6:30.  Making a good breakfast.  Doing something outside like hiking, driving/exploring,  or walking around a cute town with shops.  Then an easy dinner at home or dinner out and maybe meet up with friends.

Can't say I've done most of this lately, though!

What celebrity would you want to meet?

Question - What's your #1 "must have" when walking out the door (cell phone, wallet, etc...).

I guess saying purse would be cheating because everything is in there!  Besides keys, my phone!  I do most of my talking when driving or walking!

Question: If you could change one thing about your wedding day, what would it be?

Daisypath Anniversary tickers    Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

  • Question: If you could change one thing about your wedding day, what would it be?

Answer: Not sure if this counts, since it is totally out of my control, but I would probably get rid of the rain in the morning. I was really excited to do pictures outside of our house in the morning. And more outside of the country club - we got some good ones, but it would have been cool to have more!

Question: If you had to move from where you currently live, what city/state would you want to move to?

  • Question: If you had to move from where you currently live, what city/state would you want to move to?

From Northern Virginia to Palo Alto-ish, CA. I'd like to live anywhere in that area. Great weather, close to family, and always lots to do.

Question: If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

    imageDaisypath Anniversary tickers
  • I would love to be a marine animal rehabilitator. I looove working with animals, and it would be a dream come true to get to treat injured dolphins seals and sea turtles and then see them released back into the wild. I've done some work with wildlife rehabilitation doing the same thing with owls, hawks, even a bald eagle (coolest thing ever!!) and some mammals like fox and deer and rabbits and loved it! Its the best feeling ever being able to release something back into the wild that would have otherwise died without help. So rewarding :)

Question: If you could go back in time and witness any historic event what would it be?

  • imageLil Lar:

Question: If you could go back in time and witness any historic event what would it be?

That's tough, there's many! I would love to go back and be part of Women's Suffrage. I admire all of the women that took part in gaining equal rights for us. It would be so great to talk to those women and hear directly from them what life was like.

Next Question: What do you really, really want for Christmas this year?

  • I think I want a Kindle.  But I feel like I barely have time to read now, so maybe it is not worth it!

Question: How many kids do you want someday?

Daisypath Anniversary tickers    Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

  • I really 2 or 3. I really really want a set of twins. Like really bad haha I don't know but I've always wanted twins :) we'll see if its in the cards for me or not haha

Question: Whats one of the best dates DH has taken you on?

  • imageLil Lar:

I really 2 or 3. I really really want a set of twins. Like really bad haha I don't know but I've always wanted twins :) we'll see if its in the cards for me or not haha

Question: Whats one of the best dates DH has taken you on?

Haha, DH would LOVE twins!  And there is one set in my family.  Who knows!

Anyway, the best date was hiking around a bunch of waterfalls in northeastern PA.  We picked up food, ate outside, and explored.  We made the drive in the convertible and even the rain and avoiding the cops didn't ruin the day!

Question: what is your first big purchase you are making with DH?

Daisypath Anniversary tickers    Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

  • I think our first big purchase was a big screen tv he wanted. That one hurt the bank to buy haha but hes wanted it forever and we had the money so I said sure.

Question: whats one of your biggest regrets about your wedding?

  • imageLil Lar:

Question: whats one of your biggest regrets about your wedding?

There are a couple.  My biggest regret is probably not doing a receiving line.  Neither of us wanted to since they take so long.  We figured that we would just go around all the tables at the reception.  Boy, were we niave.  We got to table 3.  That is 3 out of 22.  This caused us not even greeting some guests in which I feel really bad about!

The smaller things I regret are the cake and the lack of getting ready time.  I hated our cake.  It looked nothing like we requested.  I think it was hideous!  As for getting ready time, my hair stylist opened early to get me in at 7:30 and I only got home around 10:30 to get ready for our noon ceremony.  We managed to get there only a few minutes late but since I was running behind, the photographer stayed with me and DH missed out on the early pictures!

Okay, next question: What are you weekend plans?
