But I agree about the deadness of this board. It has been steadily declining over the past few weeks, and it seems like no one comes on here anymore!
I feel like at the beginning of the summer it was pretty active, but ever since I came back from my HM, no one is here anymore.
It is for this reason that I've transferred to ML, although no one there knows me and it's hard to get a friend base because there are so many posters. Come over there with me and we can be best friends! We can even hold hands and skip!
Meh, I lurk over there occasionally and I think it would just get exhausting trying to be witty all the time. I sometimes enjoy posting about random sh!t that no one really cares about and it wouldn't go over well over there.
I'm still here! I almost disappeared for a while at the beginning of the semester, but I'm now in the calm before the next storm (you may not hear a whole lot from me in October...).
It makes me sad that we are all so quiet.
I've been spending more time over at the Book Club and some at H&F just because there's so little action here. Maybe we need to come up with more polls or questions or something?
I've noticed the deadness too. I was starting to think that every time I commented I'd kill a thread.
Maybe everyone's back to their Fall routines? I'm here so much because I'm still unemployed...and bored.
I bet if we had a moderator it would be more interesting. Then we could do the siggy pic challenges and stuff.
And Stu, I am not witty. But I do understand what you mean about posting random sh!t - I don't start new posts over there. But I also don't have a life and am fairly uninteresting. The only places I start new posts are here and H&F.
Can we elect an unofficial mod to run challenges and stuff?
I am also unemployed and have no life, causing me to be here ALL the time.
I also Nest from my phone all the time when I'm out in public, so I'm never really away from you guys.
ALSO I have to admit this: I get those texts on my phone from FB when someone posts something on my wall, or when they comment on a photo. So when any of you (I'm lookin at you Stu and Chrisnjay) post on my FB, I get SO excited because it feels like I'm getting a text message from you.
Nerd alert.
It's true. I'm a nerd. Somehow I've managed to keep the nerd hidden from those who know me IRL, but it's under there, I promise you.
Or maybe I haven't kept it hidden, and all my friends are just humoring me.

I was upset about being a nerd in junior high school and got picked on.
In high school, I embraced the nerdiness and was actually pretty popular.

Well it depends on your definition of nerd I guess.
I think I am a nerd because I have nerdy tendencies. I like to read. I like to be alone. I laugh at inappropriate things. I'm smarter than your average bear.
I don't know...I was a smart kid...that wasn't cool in junior high. By high school, it was. So that would be the nerdy thing I guess.

I was always one of the smarter kids in school, but going by my HS, that isn't saying much. I was also one of the cool kids because of the "extra-curricular activities" I did. I hung out with all the different cliques in school because of that.
Yeah, my extra-currics were pretty random and varied, so I was friends with pretty much everyone since I was a part of so many different groups.
Now I want to go back to high school. Life was so much easier then.
I don't think you're picking up what I'm throwing down!! Not quite what I was talking about, but whatever. Nah, I always had "serious" boyfriends. I guess as serious as you can be in HS. And we've already discussed my bad gag reflexes so now blowing for me!!

I try to post, but really, I have nothing good enough to say to start a thread. Same reason why I don't have a blog, cause I'd really like one. I'm just not an interesting person. Or when I'm at my regular job, sometimes I too busy to post.
