NER support & zombie hugs, please
Re: NER support & zombie hugs, please
Ditto everyone. I would hate to sound naive, but if you love each other maybe counseling can help with the other issues? I believe ups and downs in marriages are very common. Additionally, I have family members who have been together over 30 years who have all said there was one point that they thought they couldn't take it anymore.
I'll keep both of you in my thoughts!
I'm so sorry you are going through this
So sorry you are dealing with this. I hope you can find some peace in your life soon, however that may manifest itself. And don't ever hesitate to seek comfort from your friends, either the real life or internet versions.
I really did just shed a tear for you. I'm kind of in a spot too, although it feels like I always am, so I think I can empathize with that feeling of drowning, or settling, whatever it is. I hope everything works out for you. If you did conceive that is a good thing! No matter what happens now. I know people hate this saying, but I truly believe that ::most:: things happen for a reason. I did the worst thing by bringing a child into a tumultuous relationship. I really wish I had taken the initiative you are right now.
I'm so sorry Brookles. I hope everything works out for the best, whatever that is. Ditto the others and take care of yourself.
Also, you're a good person for leaving the kitties behind in your personal turmoil. I'm sure they looked very comforting. Maybe you could go visit more, or volunteer?

Hi Brookles....I am sorry that you are going through some tough times. I don't know the specifics, but if it helps at all we had a couple of rough patches and I found that communication, understanding and forgiveness got us through those times.
I wish the best for you....and if there is a little on on the way, I wish the best for all three of you.
I will say a prayer for you....
Thanks, all. Your words mean a lot.
I keep going back and forth on what to do--I'll be sure that leaving is the right decision but then minutes later I feel like I should stay and stick it out. Guess that means I have a lot more thinking to do.
So, please understand if I'm snappish these days. Maybe I'll head on over to E08 and take out my rage on those poor unfortunates.
