Re: Wednesday randoms
I have this irrational fear of taking a shower during a lightening storm, because I'm afraid the lightening will come through the water.
It's pretty bad outside, and I have to hop in the shower soon.
Maybe you could take a quick bath, and wait until the tub is full to get in.
Ooo! I bought a sewing machine off CL for my sister last night! I can't wait to give it to her for Christmas. It's in really great shape (almost new) and perfect for a beginner. Now I don't feel bad that I have the nicer (way) more expensive one she wanted from my mom.
I'm also excited because my BFF is coming over to help me set mine up on Saturday! Yay!
Good Morning!
Rescheduled my girl's immunizations AGAIN this morning. For the 3rd time. I wonder at what point they will just stop scheduling me. Both are still sniffly, and coughing. They probably would have been ok, but after being gone all day Monday and all day on Tuesday, I really didn't want to drive to South of Grand Haven.
The pharmacy lost my 2mo old's prescription yesterday. I went in to pick it up, but it wasn't covered by insurance, my husband had all the cash and the debit card, so I said I would have him pick it up on his way home from work. He got there less than an hour later, and then waited an hour while they looked for it. They don't carry it in the pharmacy all the time, so we have to wait til they can get it back in. Since it was called in at 8:30 Monday night, and filled by 2 yesterday. I am hoping that it will be filled today.
My cell phone isn't working right either. I have a Samsung Moment. The screen won't go into "sleep" mode. It's on constantly, even though I have it set to shut off after 30seconds. It will, then it turns right back on. It won't hang up after a call too. I have to wait for the other party to hang up first. And of course, my husband dropped insurance on our phones because "nothing ever happens, and we never need to use it".
I took a quick shower.
I'm actually scared of all things electric - i'm on a wireless keyboard right now.
I HAVE to use my hairdryer and such since it's interview day today.
I just realized my umbrella is in the car.
Sorry about the crappy weather in Vegas! Boo.
Good luck today!!! You'll do great.
I hate drama, so why does it follow me everywhere?
My New Year's Resolution will be to stay drama free for the entire year. I think I can do it.
Eek that sounds like a lot to deal with.
Hope the girls feel better soon.
H and I have Samsungs and normally I really like that brand, but H has been having problems with his phone lately. I wonder if phones are like cars...the more you use them, the more wear and tear they experience? My phone has been perfectly fine. He talks on his A LOT more than I use mine though.
Eww with a side of scary.
Haha. I wish. My office is actually the only one not affected because I'm set farther away, so I would be the one to stay and answer phones.
I am so sick of hearing about boob jobs all day long! Two of my co-workers are getting them and that is ALL they talk about. It makes me want to scream!
Oh yes. They immediately found the source of the fire and put it out. We have people on stand by with a fire extinguisher on the off chance it starts again. We also now have all the doors open with big fans to get rid of the smell.
Wow, that's still scary!
That sucks...how annoying! I am sorry! (And secretly thankful that it's you that has to deal with that and not me! OMG, shoot me now!)
This is really irrational, but I'm not a fan of the way cell phone companies are starting to name their phones using random words. There's one called the Incredible. So you'd have to say, "I have an Incredible." No! Incredible is an adjective, not a noun! Argh, I hate it.
How about this? My phone is the "Samsung :-)". I asked the sales guy what you're supposed to call it and he said "Samsung smile". I think that's pretty silly.
That seems to me like a very random thing to talk about in the workplace and I'm not so sure I'd be able to keep my snarky comments to myself.
Confession: I judge people who have boob jobs.
I judge, too, but only because they think they can find happiness through a pair of $6K fake breasts that only a scum-bag guy would care about.
We knew our friends were TTC and they came to visit us at the hospital when we had Allison. I told Brian that I think "Sue" is pregnant, her boobs were HUGE. And there was one other comment they made me think that. Sue came to visit me a few weeks later and told me that she was pg, however she wasn't pregnant (or maybe was days pregnant) when she came to visit me at the hospital. Several months later, I threw her a baby shower and her other friend made a couple of comments about her boobs and was feeling her up in a picture. Finally at the end of the shower it dawned on me that Sue had a boob job. I couldn't wait to go home and tell Brian. ha ha.
I was kind of suprrised she did it, however she has changed a lot in the past few years so I'm not surprised.
I would call it the "Samsung Colon Hyphen Paratheses."
I had 3 hours in interviews today - INTENSE.
Now I have to wait a week.
Im so impatient.
More than one? How'd they go? How do you feel about them?
I interviewed 5 people, and took a personality assessment.
I think it went ok.
I just hate the waiting part - and you never know if someone out there is better than you.
