Re: Question about babies
I don't think it's weird to bring my kids to kidless homes. I never would if they were not invited/not welcome/it wasn't appropriate, but it's not weird. We have a house full of toys that Olivia won't play with. Most kids are hardly interested in their own toys/stuff. With her, as long as she has somebody to entertain and pay attention to her around, she's happy and content. And, we're lucky enough to have our parents close by and more than willing to babysit, but if I did need an actual babysitter, they are expensive, so if it's OK with the people that I bring my kids (and it's appropriate to bring them) to their house, I would.
i'm also not big into dogs. i tolerate them because my husband loves them but i really hope once the ones we have pass away, we don't get any more. i'd actually be okay with being a pet free household. i think i'm just kind of "over" cleaning up other living things crap/barf/drool.
This is awesome.

Yep! The going rate for a quality sitter around here is $13+/hour. At that price, Livie is coming with me any and every time she is welcome
