So... did it turn out how you wanted in your area?
Re: f/u voting
Governor's too close to call here too. I am very unhappy about the Senate outcome. At least all the amendments turned out the way I wanted them to.
It seems to be very very rare that I actually vote for the winner.
I thought of you this morning. Looks like I can no longer move to your state to escape the politics of my own
Well, it sounds like there's depression all around! It was really interesting to watch the spin machines whirling on the news last night. Fox had an Election Alert, which I thought was ridiculous. It's not an alert; it's a report. Yeesh. Why must everything on that channel return to fear mongering?

This is exactly what DH and I were talking about last night. Things take time, but people expect results NOW.
I'm really disappointed my state voted to make class sizes bigger. I feel like it's just another way to save money. Instead of hiring more teachers and adding more classrooms, they're just going to make it harder for current teachers. My high school classes averaged 35-38 students. The limit is 25.
1- You said both Neptoon and JoShan
2- I can't believe people voted to INCREASE class sizes. terrible!! ETA: who do you think they're going to blame when test scores end up in the garbage... oh yeah the teachers.
