Hamburgers and hot dogs.*
Buffalo chicken dip, cheesy chili dip, veggie pizza, fruit kababs and possibly pasta salad for sides/appetizers, and then cupcakes for dessert. Pop, juice and bottles of water for drinks.
H can get hamburger patties, hamburger buns, and hotdog buns from work for free.
Well Des&Mol it looks like it's just you and me today. I think this board has become "uncool" for a lot of people and they don't visit anymore.

I'm here, finally.
Both girls had their immunizations today. So we were up bright and early. I left the house way earlier than planned, not thinking. So we went and sat at the Grand Haven City Beach and watched the waves for a bit. Then, we went and she played at the mall play area after I swung by Yankee Candle to exchange a candle that didn't smell once I lit it.
Thank God the election is over. And my mail box will be back to the normal amount of mail, and not 6 or 7 (totally not exaggerating) election propoganda cards filling it up.
That menu sounds great! I love planning parties. I need to start planning one soon. My 2yo will be 3 in a few months.
I check in from time to time. I go back to work in a few weeks, so I'll be more active again. It's kind of hard to get online some days! I've been thinking of you all!

You totally shouldn't feel rude! The only reason it feels like a private convo is because there was no one else in here adding to the conversation. People shouldn't feel like they need to comment on every post either, just....start 'talking'. I think that's why it's called randoms, because not every post needs it's own thread. KWIM? I try to start seperate subjects so that they're not lost in the randoms- like the one above
I just turned away the Orkin man when he showed up **unannounced** for the second time in a row. Actually, it was a different man from last time, which was a different man from the previous two years. Supposedly our guy just up and retired one day.
So I said no, he could not come in because 1) he didn't call to tell me when he (or WHO) would be there, 2) my son is napping, and 3) I pay too much to that company for them to not even afford me the courtesy of a "What time is good for you?" call the night before.

You would think they would get the hint and make a note on your account. I would have turned him away too.
The only reason I let the last guy in was because my mom was here and DS wasn't napping yet. Otherwise I would've thought he was a scammer and turned him away as well. I'm going to call them tomorrow if I don't hear from them--this guy said they'd call tomorrow about servicing next week. Ugh.

I'm here too - I had some training the past few days. I think between a lot of us being busier at work there is also a baby board that pry took some posters too. Oh well - it's good to see some of you checking in!
