Do you take drugs for a cold?
My standard cold treatment is just to sleep as much as possible, along with sides of chicken noodle soup and lots of hot water/tea. If I can't sleep and am desperate then I'll take some medicine, but otherwise I generally avoid drugs as they're not a cure anyway.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Do you take drugs for a cold?
Yes. I am all about the decongestants.
I LOVE taking nyquil for a cold. It's the only way I can sleep, and it totally knocks me out. Usually I do dayquil/nyquil, but I always make sure I switch to Delsum if it's only a cough.
I have a cold right now and my doctor has approved Robitussin, but I've made it 38 weeks without taking more than a total of 4 or 5 Tylenol, so I'd love to not start now. I'm just sleeping even more, drinking TONS of water, and toughing it out.
